"     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.

"He's meticulous with everything he does. He cleaned and repaired my chimney and put a new cap on. He installed flooring in my kitchen and dining room and installed a new dishwasher, smart range and garbage disposal., and painted the cupboards and walls. He removed moldy insulation and replaced it. He put a new ceiling and light fixtures in my sunroom. He put in 3 new ceiling fans and updated all of my electric outlets to bring everything up to code. He installed my washer and dryer and made a separate laundry room in my basement. He put in all new light fixtures outside and in the hallways both upstairs and downstairs. He installed new toilets in the bathrooms and installed new flooring. He ripped out the old carpeting in the living room and had to destroy the mold in the wood in a large area of the floor before he could install the new flooring. He cleaned out the gutters and painted them. He landscaped my yard and put in a sidewalk to the front door. He also changed and updated the lights outside my house. He makes good suggestions and let's me know if something else might work better. He gives good prices on materials that are always the correct quality for the job. He turned this house into a smart home. I've been pleased with his work and find his estimates fair. He's done this little by little over the past year as I didn't have all of the money to do everything all at once. He's also articulate and explains exactly what each job entails. He listens well and is considerate and friendly."

"I hired Those Annoying Projects to complete a very difficult and tedious job, which involved digging dirt out of my basement and carrying it up the steps in buckets. They made many trips up and down my stairs and worked in 90 degree heat with no complaints. They did a fantastic job on my basement. I have several unfinished projects and would definitely like to use them again. Excellent work ethic."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

Installations include new light fixtures, upgraded panels, fixed outlets, and tracked wiring continuity.

It’s not illegal to fly an American flag at night without a light shining on it, but the U.S. Flag Code notes that it’s respectful to provide illumination. Installing a flagpole light is also common practice and will add more to your home’s curb appeal at night. Choosing a solar-powered or battery-powered light for your flag is an affordable way to provide illumination.

One possibility is that they aren’t getting enough sunlight during the day, which could be due to a lack of sunshine in your area or trees blocking the solar panel. Alternatively, if the solar panel is dirty or the batteries are dying, your solar lights might not operate at full brightness.

Your maintenance needs revolve around the type of foundation you choose, as well as how you furnish or decorate it. Patios require little else other than the occasional hose-down, but decks and other wooden structures will require annual power washing and sealing. You may also need to restain the wood every two to three years.

Adding a solid roof rather than building a pergola or leaving the space open will make maintenance much easier. Without a roof, you will need to spend more time sweeping, washing, and covering your furniture to protect it from UV bleaching.

The average cost to install outdoor or landscape lighting is around $4,000, with most projects ranging from $2,000 to $6,000. The total cost can vary widely depending on several factors, including the number of fixtures, design complexity, and the type and quality of the lights used, such as wall sconces, pathway lights, or lamp posts. Other factors that influence the price are the square footage of the area being lit, the amount of electrical work needed, any required excavation or trenching, and local permitting costs. For specific types, you might pay around $100 for pathway or string lighting and up to $700 for lamp post lighting.
