We have a combined 41 years of experience in this industry and employ ISA Certified Arborists who will be present for all proposals and all work. Please contact us via email at [email protected] DUE TO OUR BACKLOG OF WORK, WEARE UNABLE TO ATTEND TO REQUESTS FOR WORK TO BE DONE "Within 2 weeks"

"Jeremy really provided world-class service and I can’t recommend Kruljac Tree Services enough. I had called on the morning of April 29th about two large bushes and one tree stump removal and was set up for an estimate the following Monday. But nature intervened and I feared our small project would be pushed back far on their roster. He called and arrived on May 2nd to give an estimate since was already in the neighborhood and proposed two additional services which we had not even thought about and were happy to include. And for a very reasonable price. Despite the extent of their continued heavy schedule they were able to fit in this smaller project today, a wait of only two weeks and performed a very fast, tidy, and visually pleasing result. And they use incredibly quiet machines to achieve their results! Thank you so much from the DE GROAT family."

Hellmann's Tree Service in Pittsburgh is your go-to tree service provider. With our team of experts, we deliver on our promises and get the job done right. Contact us today for all your tree service needs!

"Doesn't return calls or emails and is unprofessional. He removed the tree but was late grinding the stump, which I communicated from the beginning I needed done in order to lay a foundation for my retaining wall. Not only was he late and didn't communicate when he could come back, he didn't grind it deep enough so we had to pay extra for someone else to come out and finish the job. Below are the email communications with dates and times. You can see that from the project start the timeline was in place and Ray knew I needed the stump removed before the retaining wall foundation could be laid. I told him on Wednesday, June 3 that the wall was going to be removed in the next couple of days and asked how much lead time he needed. I got no response. He did not return any of our calls when we were trying to get him to come out and grind the stump. He didn't respond with a date until June 11 and didn't come out until June 14. If he would have told me he couldn't meet my timeline I could have gotten someone else to do it. I had to hire someone else anyway because he couldn't even grind the stump deep enough for my walls foundation, which would have been nice to know before committing to the project. His price is fair, he does quick work, but he is unprofessional in my opinion and it cost us time and money. Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

Late spring or early summer is usually the best time to stain a fence. Pick your timing carefully and aim to start your DIY when you see a forecast that shows no rain and low humidity levels for at least a few days. If it’s too hot (like in the middle of summer), the stain will dry out too quickly. If it’s too cold (like in the winter and early spring), the stain might not be able to fully dry.

To prevent a fence from becoming dirty, hose it down weekly and after every time you mow the lawn. This will prevent algae from being able to feed on grass clippings. You should also wash your fence once per season and trim plants so they don’t touch it. As a precautionary measure, you can treat your fence with a coating of a mold prevention product.

A cedar fence will actually last quite a long time even if you don’t treat it with stain. In fact, you can expect to get between 15 and 30 years out of an untreated cedar fence. However, if you want to preserve its color and extend its life, treat it with a combination stain and sealer every three to five years.

Typically, you need one to two coats of stain for a fence. The number of coats you need can vary depending on the porosity of the type of wood. You can also apply an extra coat of stain if you want the color to look more saturated or to cover lap marks and patchy spots.

Yes, you can paint galvanized chain link, but the process is a bit more difficult as it requires additional prep work. Before applying the primer and paint, you must remove the original coating from the metal, which can be time-consuming. If the original coating is not removed, the primer and paint will not bond properly and cause peeling over time.
