"Very great work! Not only is Terry honest but he is very professional and kind. He works with you and is not money hungry. Very sweet person and the price is very reasonable. Terry and his son put VCT tile flooring in my kitchen for me and put a white base to match the floors, and my kitchen floors look so much better than before. Terry made sure he did not leave until everything was done right. Terry is my floor person from now on because of his positivity and kindness. The goodness of his heart shows through him and his work. Thanks again for my floors 🌸🌸🌸"

"Debbie was very considerate of our restricted time because we wanted to do the flooring before we moved into our new home. She took time out of her handy schedule and came for measurements, and explained everything in detail. She pointed us in the right direction because we were new to this. Thanks to Debbie and her team, they managed to do the work in a few hours, and our floor looks and feels really good. Definitely recommend her service!"

"Very smooth. Steve and his team did a great job from quote to completion. Easy to communicate with and helpful every step of the way for someone who has not used this product before. Continue to get great compliments from our customers as to how the floor has transformed the feel of the office. Highly recommend for either commercial or residential jobs!"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Decent carpet will last around 10 years on stairs. Some less durable carpets, like polyester, will only last five years on stairs. The ideal carpet, like wool or nylon, can last about 15 to 25 years. You’ll know when to replace it when it starts wearing down. You may have to replace it sooner if it's stained, whether due to water damage or pets.

New carpet installation offers warmth, comfort, and aesthetic appeal. It can improve indoor air quality by trapping dust particles and provides a sound-dampening effect, which is beneficial for creating quiet environments.

Bamboo flooring has several disadvantages to consider. It is highly susceptible to moisture and humidity due to its absorbent nature, which can cause it to warp, buckle, swell, expand, or contract, potentially creating gaps in the floor. For this reason, it is best suited for dry climates. Bamboo can also scratch and dent easily. Aesthetically, it offers fewer color and style options compared to wood, laminate, or vinyl flooring, which can be a limitation for some homeowners. Additionally, bamboo flooring may discolor over time, especially in high-traffic areas.

Carpet installers use furniture sliders or blankets to protect your furniture during the installation process. They handle each piece with care to minimize the risk of damage. Additionally, they may employ techniques such as lifting and shifting furniture rather than dragging it across the floor to prevent scratches or other marks. If you have particularly delicate or heavy items that need to be moved, discuss special handling with the installers beforehand.

To prevent your dining room carpet from slipping, consider using rug pads or grippers underneath to provide traction and stability. Additionally, ensure the carpet is properly sized and secured to the floor to minimize movement. Regularly check and readjust the rug to maintain its position and safety under your dining room table.
