Acrylic paint is the best choice for painting wood if you want a finish that will last for years to come. To ensure a flawless and long-lasting finish, remember these tips for using acrylic paint on wood: Clean, sand, and prime before adding your color. Also, if you’re using acrylics on outdoor furniture, be sure to choose paint that is specifically made for outdoor use.

There are several pros and cons to brick houses, including the fact that painted brick requires more maintenance than bare brick. For one, you need to repaint the surface every 10 or so years. This is a costly and time-consuming process that requires sanding, scraping, washing, and a new coat of paint. You also need to touch up the paint if it chips or fades. Unpainted brick, on the other hand, may need cleaning periodically, but you won’t need to go to the same levels you would for painted brick.
