"I am a partner in a home improvement company in Lancaster, PA but it is nearly impossible for me to pull my crew off of jobs to have them do work on my cabin since it is 3 hours away. I hired William back in 2016 to put on a new deck and replace my siding and gutters and I was so impressed with his work, I hired him again in 2017 to redo my carport and replace the walkways at my place. He is extremely professional and does a fantastic job."

"Very courteous. Answered all questions honestly. Installed roof within 2 weeks of estimate. Workers well organized and had my roof on in less then a day. Protected the landscape around the house. "Everything went very well and the work was quickly completed.  Mr. Henderson was able to get started on the work within a week after giving us his quote and completed the work in about a week.  He removed the damaged drywall and fit a replacement piece back into the area, sanded it even and then repainted the ceiling and the walls near the corner of the ceiling.  The work was done extremely well and it is hard to even tell where the damage was/where the repair area is located.  We are extremely pleased with the work.

Mildew grows into porous wood, making it more difficult to remove than regular dirt (and more destructive). We suggest using a dedicated mildew and mold fungicide to remove mildew, which is found in any local home improvement store. Apply a dose of the fungicide to the siding and leave to work according to the instructions, usually for an hour or two. Then wash it thoroughly away and scrub the spot again. Repeat the process if necessary. If nothing is removing the mildew stains, you should plan on removing those clapboard planks in time, as their damage could cause future problems.

While vinyl is the less expensive option, composite siding has been known to be more durable than vinyl. In addition, because it is made from recycled materials, it is a more ecologically-friendly choice. Composite siding is also more luxurious looking and comes in a much wider range of styles and colors.

You should consider a siding replacement material that meets your expectations for budget, durability, and if you want to complete the siding project yourself.
