"He has a real attention to detail, he got out blood stains from some old foot problems, he cleaned the bedroom carpet like it has never been cleaned before and even pointed out an area that was high use. And every piece of furniture he moved to do the job he put a piece of plastic under each foot so that there would be no leakage from the wood reacting to the carpet being wet. He was accurate for how long it took to dry as well. Very professional."

Vinegar is acidic and makes a great cleaning agent for many items throughout the house, including some upholstery. It should not be used for any upholstery with the code S or X. It can be used for W labels. One way to sanitize and deodorize a carpet is to use a cleaning solution made from one part vinegar and two parts warm water. After you vacuum, spray the solution on parts of the carpet that smell, being careful not to oversaturate it. Let the solution sit for 15 to 20 minutes before you perform your normal carpet sanitation routine.

Whether your carpet cleaner is self-employed or not doesn’t need to play a major factor in tipping. Some larger cleaning companies prefer you don’t tip their employees, but if the cleaner is self-employed that isn’t a concern.
