I believed each explanation, I think between employee shortages, supply chain problems and COVID closings this year was really hard on schedules. "Poor service follow up after the job was done. Henry showed up for an estimate as promised, gave what seemed a reasonable price. After the job was done, there were some areas at the end of the driveway that looked underdone. It rained that evening, and some of the coating watched away. I called the company the next day and was promised that Henry would come by. Promises were made twice with time frames (by who I believe is his wife who seems to manage the business) but he never showed up. It has been a few weeks and I have stopped calling. They have not followed up. In short, the basic job was done adequately for the most part, but actual customer service after the sale to address issues, has been non-existent. Would not recommend."

If your driveway is cracked, you can repave it with a process called asphalt overlay. Overlay is more cost-effective than a full replacement but is better suited for minor cracks and issues. If you have major cracks or other problems like water pooling, asphalt overlay isn’t your best bet. Plus, paving over a cracked driveway only extends the lifetime by about 10 years, whereas replacing it would start the clock over completely to give you up to 30 years.
The ideal distance between stepping stones depends on your design preference. A general rule is to place them about 24 inches apart from center to center to match an average person's stride. Another common approach is to leave about 6 inches of space between the edges of each stone; this can be adjusted to fit the path's total length without cutting pavers. If you plan to plant between the stones, leave at least 6 to 8 inches of space to give the plants room to grow.
The layer of polymeric sand under the pavers plus the polymeric sand that gets swept into the joints between your pavers holds them in place in a few ways. For one, the gritty texture of the sand helps lock the pavers together. Polymeric sand also contains bonding agents that get activated by water. Polymeric sand will take between 24 and 48 hours to fully cure, so do not walk on your paver walkway before this time.
