", and actually might be. We BUYER BEWARE! If you’re in the market for a pool RUN DON’T WALK AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! This company is the worst. A total JOKE. I’m just one of many- Read the reviews-, their only positive review is a phony review from their own salesman, Danny Pisaante!. All the negative reviews here should be enough for anyone to stay away but for those who want details, read on: We recently bought a home with a Wilkes pool. We needed a new liner and apparently, unlike most every other pool brand, only their liner will fit. And guess what- their liners are 5 times more expensive! But what can you do, so I bit the bullet and called them to place an order. After 4 days of leaving messages and never getting a call back, someone finally answered the phone with “hello” ( first sign that this is a shoddy outfit). I asked who I was speaking to and he told me he was the owner, Christopher. I told him what I needed. He told me that he’d pass my number onto a salesman and they would get back to me. Several days passed so I called Christopher back and told him I had not yet heard from a salesman. He assured me that he would remind “Danny” to call me ASAP. Finally a week later Danny calls me . I told him exactly what I needed and gave him my credit card for payment and he told me he had my liner in stock and it should go out the next day. Two more weeks pass, no liner, I call Danny multiple times and leave messages asking him to please just send me the tracking number. Now over FOUR weeks and NO calls returned. So I called good old Christopher the owner back and tell him very politely that I’m a bit nervous since they have my credit card info and I have no liner AND his salesman isn’t even returning my calls. So Christopher’s idea of customer service is to tell me that he is fed up with my calls to him because this is not his problem, this is Danny’s problem! (here’s the BEST part). Christopher tells me that calling him is akin to if I had a bad spark plug in my Chevy and calling GM to complain! Comparing himself to GM would actually be hilarious if it weren’t so pathetic but I think Christopher may be experiencing some demensia and if so I do sympathize but it may be time for him to turn over the keys. Anyway, 5 weeks later I finally get my liner and of course the order is wrong. Wrong skimmer box, wrong corner cover, wrong gasket. But at least the liner was correct. Way to go, guys! Oh, and just to give you an idea of their price gouging, Danny inadvertently sent an invoice that included wholesale cost of each item- Liner cost-$375.00 my price, $1,500.00, Skimmer box cost $15.00, my price- $130.00, gasket cost $3.00, my price $33.00. This kind of price gouging ought to be illegalwill see…"

FAQs for pool construction and installation projects in Addison, pa

The average cost of an above-ground pool is between $1,100 and $5,700. Costs will vary depending on the type of pool you install. The low end of the price range includes a DIY kit for around $800 and goes up to about $15,000 for a custom pool with extra features like a deck and water features. Building an above-ground pool is much faster than installing an inground one. The cost tends to be much lower for an above-ground pool than for an inground pool because there’s less labor involved, especially when it comes to excavation and running plumbing and electrical lines.

Installing an inground pool costs around $55,000, on average. The typical price range is between $39,000 and $70,000, depending on the size and type of pool and accessibility of the site. This project requires an experienced pool installation contractor as the project usually involves extensive excavation, plumbing, electrical, concrete, and careful grading of the concrete or pavers around the pool.

Adding a spa to a pool is worth it if you use it enough. Adding a built-in spa to an inground pool can cost between $15,000 and $20,000, on top of installing the pool. A separate hot tub costs between $5,000 and $8,000. These prices will vary depending on the hot tub's size, type, and features. Additional costs include maintenance, electricity, and plumbing.

From start to finish, building an inground pool takes anywhere from two to four months. Factors that impact time to completion include any weather delays, material delays or shortages, scheduling conflicts, and any unforeseen challenges. The project may take most of the pool season, depending on where you live. Because of this, it’s a good idea to start getting estimates and finding a qualified pool company at least a year before your anticipated installation. Spring and summer is the busy season for pool contractors, which impacts their availability as projects are typically booked for several weeks if not months.
