"I had my first move with this company, and I was very happy with how smooth everything went ? no unexpected expenses. It was a local move, and three guys helped move my 2-bedroom apartment into a house. What I really appreciated was that all my items were protected with special wrap. Even my TV (which I was worried about) was delivered without any issues. Thanks a lot, guys! I will definitely recommend your company to all my friends."

"Terrible, they came highly recommend and I was in tears by the end of the move. They were over an hour late and did not call to notify me they were running late. They got grease all over my couch and mattress to the point that they are ruined. The scratches several walls, doors, and decking. They were NOT equipped to move the safe although they told me they do it all the time. My beautiful hardwood floors have several deep scratches in them from they way they moved in the safe. Terrible experience and will never use them or recommend them. They also did not wear masks and used very foul language. Very unprofessional."

"We had 3 different local moves in the past 8 months---from storage to a condo, from one condo to another & from a condo to a house. The guys, David & Justin, were great & did exactly what was needed from setting up beds to putting together an entertainment center. Quality work & a fair price! The approximate cost is a total for 3 different local moves."

"Anthony and Sid were amazing. They took there time to help my spouse and I move local, these two guys were amazing, dont underestimate there size!! We had no help and if it wasn't for these two guys I have no idea what we would of done. I wish I had more to give them but we just couldn't afford a tip and yes I feel bad about it but a 5 star review goes a long ways, i definitely hire them again!!"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Shipping a moving container costs around $3,000 on average, with a typical range of $2,000 to $5,000. For international moves, the price can be as high as $7,000. Costs fluctuate based on factors such as the container's size, weight, travel distance, demand, and fuel prices. To ensure you get the best deal, it is recommended to get quotes from at least three different companies.

When moving yourself, you should consider the non-monetary costs, such as time spent and physical and mental stress. If you’re packing and moving every box on your own, or with the help of a few volunteers, you can expect the process to take several days or even weeks. While it’s a less expensive option than hiring full-service movers, keep in mind that the process will be much more difficult.

To prepare for moving a piano, start by documenting its current condition with photos in case of any damage during the move. Secure the piano's lid and wrap the instrument, including its keys and pedals, with bubble wrap and moving blankets for protection. Note that if you have hired professional piano movers, they may handle this step for you.

Next, prepare the space. Measure any tight spaces or doorways to ensure the piano will fit through. Clear a wide path from the piano's location to the exterior door, removing any furniture or obstacles. It is also helpful to prop open doors to make the exit easier.

On moving day, ensure the moving truck can park as close to the exit as possible. For safety, keep children and pets away from the moving area to prevent accidents or distractions.

The number of boxes you need to move depends on the size of their house and whether your style is minimalist or maximalist. However, on average, most people need around 60 boxes to move. It’s essential to pick the correct box sizes to ensure efficient packing.

The level of difficulty for this type of move depends on the size of the safe. However, even a small gun safe can weigh several hundred pounds. Since gun safes are large and bulky, they are typically difficult to move and transport unless you have the right equipment and plenty of professional help.
