"The pickup went pretty well, except the charge for packing materials was several hundred dollars higher than the APT estimate. It turned out that Moving APT does not move anything -- they are a broker located in Florida. Everything is great when you talk to them. But they assigned our move to Streamline Moving and Storage, a small company located in Las Vegas, NV. Our move was from NV to CA.] Streamline told us they charge their rates, which seemed excessive, for boxes, plastic wrap, etc. It didn't matter what the estimate was. A year later Streamline failed to call us to inform the day and time of delivery to our new home. Thankfully we were there, and the movers were friendly and helpful. Several pieces had minor damage, but several had badly cracked and warped wood. They had assured us that our furniture would be stored in an air-conditioned warehouse. If the warehouse is environmentally controlled I cannot understand how the wood could become so badly warped and cracked. After submitting photos of the damages we received ZERO response. Streamline stopped responding to my calls, texts, and emails. I know that APT is only the broker, but I would not deal with them again. I would prefer to deal with one company for the entire move.show more

"Marvin & Alberto of All Service Moving did a fantastic job - fast, friendly, careful, and thorough. They loaded and shipped boxes and furniture from two locations over an hour apart to our new home. Two flights of stairs at the first, two flights at the 2nd. Brought everything to the final location and individual rooms per instruction. Literally laid out the red carpet, everything padded + shrink wrapped. They even went the extra mile to assemble a bed frame at the end of a long day.show more

"When I first contacted Cristy, the co-owner, she quickly arranged the move and gave me a price quote during a very busy month. She was creative in squeezing me into her schedule. The movers arrived on time in CT and loaded the truck carefully and quickly. When they arrived in DC the next morning, also on time, they were extremely careful will all items. Nothing was damaged or broken, including my house, and they completed the job without any problems whatsoever. I have never experienced any movers as careful and considerate as Garrett and Chase were. Christy kept me updated along the way regarding changes in the schedule. She was also a delight to work with. If this company every went public, I would invest heavily in it since it excels ahead of all of its competition as far as my research showed. The price for the job was reasonable considering both the competition and the difficulty I would have experienced if I did the move myself. I would hire them again without any hesitation.show more

"Oscar's crew of three was GREAT!
