"JM Smith was great! I have to work all day, but I was able to coordinate an estimate (which was very reasonable) and installation via phone and texts. They kindly removed my barely-held-on gutters and replaced them with new ones in such a way that will last much longer than the previous shoddily-installed ones. You can purchase a rekey kit from most hardware stores, but make sure you’re buying the kit from the brand of lock in your home that you’re going to rekey. 

There are several ways to add security to a sliding glass door. To start, install a rod or deadbolt lock instead of the flip-lock that comes standard with most sliding glass doors. Add a sensor to the door and monitor any activity through your home security system.

Finally, installing shatterproof window film will help keep the structural integrity of the glass if it cracks.
