"The control panel needed a new battery pack installer did not have. 3eMissed one indoor window needing a sensor, and garage door open sensor is needed. Appt. times are not accurate so allow for extra time ! Low battery alarm beeped once every minute overnight so I lowered volume. Garage door sensor is on backorder. This install may get completed when? Unknown.
I could also use 2 more sensors.
Our insurance company said that since we have no smoke or fire alarm protection they cannot give us a bigger discount on our homeowners policy.

"They were great. There was one thing that I wanted them to do and the tech actually saw that the one thing that I wanted them to do wasn't really what was needed to be done. He went online and helped me order the part. Once the part came, he came in and worked on it and got it up and running, as if it is brand new. They charge you by the job and not the hour. It took him a fair amount of time to do it because he had to put in a new motherboard and a new DVD drive. It took him awhile to swap everything over and he worked very hard. He was very pleasant and the cost was what they quoted me, besides the $25 charge for the motherboard. They come to your house. I would recommend them to anybody. He did a really great drive and I was really, really pleased with it. He also installed a new blower motor. I had the part and he just did it for nothing. Another company told me it would cost $300 just to look at my computer because of the age of my computer. They guarantee their work. If I had to get anything else done, I would call them."

Plus a few months after having the system installed the Carbon Monoxide detector failed and had to have them come back a second time and the service man wanted me to shell out $25.00 more. "While they got the job done eventually and their customer services and techs were sweet, the company needs to be MUCH more crystal clear and upfront about a few things before they eagerly take payment. 1. This is not a company for novice clients as they only do work remotely and expect you to have all hardware properly installed before hand. So perhaps they should only sign up for software issues with clients like me who are hardware dummies. I had to struggle on my own for hours buying and trying to figure out where to plug items (again I am basically an old lady technophobe as they say). 2. They also don't make it clear that you are not scheduling an appt in the traditional sense but rather scheduling a position in a phone queue at say a time like 7 pm eastern. So you end up sitting by the phone at 7 pm for 45 minutes waiting for them to call (since apparently you are 10th in the queue). All this is fine, but it should be the first few things you bring up when someone works with you esp for 137 an hour as there are other local companies one can work with if they seek non remote service. In short, your people are great and sweet, but the upfront disclosure is lacking."
