"They were very quick to respond to our needs , He came out the next day to look at the project and the following day came to do the work. We had to get an old camper out of our yard a previous owner left. They did this quick and professionally. We will be using them again for other projects."

Small jobs welcome

"Had a retaining wall done? Eric was great in keeping me informed of all steps up to the very end and was easy to work with. His team did an outstanding job and the wall looks great. It is nice to have a company that shows pride in its work and cares about the customer. I highly recommend them."

"We recently had James come out to help clear an absolute mountain of overgrown blackberries in our yard, and we couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, he was so kind, approachable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. His pricing was incredibly fair and transparent, and he didn't just meet our expectations—he went completely above and beyond with the quality of his work, turning a massive headache of a project into a clean, manageable space. We feel so lucky to have found him. We will definitely be reaching back out to him for future projects and are already recommending him to all our friends and family. If you need excavation or yard work done, James is your guy!!"

"We asked for an estimate and Pacific Crest Plumbing Owner, Nick Deleganes, was here the next day. He was thorough in his explanation and answered our many questions about the water line replacement, related concrete work and connection to an outdoor faucet that would be done. As we had four estimates, we inquired about the different approaches and costs. Nick was upfront and honest about his price and process, again, answering any questions that we had. Although we originally planned to do the job immediately, due to a delay with locating utilities and a change in our personal plans, the job was delayed a few days. Nick worked with our needs and was on the job as soon as we agreed to a new date. Nick and his crew were prompt, courteous, and were efficient with their time. The plumbing job and the related concrete work were completed professionally and we were pleased with the final outcome."

"They put in new drains and a dry well for our driveway, carport, and front yard. When the first dry well wasn't large enough to hold all the runoff from a heavy storm, they came back and added a second for free. Excellent customer service, very responsive, good work."

"Michael called ahead and arrived ahead of time.  He worked diligently to drain the water from the crawlspace and to look for any leaks that might be causing the water to pool.  He found no leaks and was very professional.  The wafer was removed in a timely manner and Michael cleaned up thoroughly.  I was very happy with this service.

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Yes, most services include site leveling and foundation work. Confirm with your contractor for specifics.

Most residential basements are 8 to 10 feet deep. You can dig deeper depending on building codes, but it does become more difficult. You’ll likely need to install stronger foundation walls and additional supports to handle the increased load. Depending on the water table, you may also need a water management system. Clay soil can support a deeper foundation than sandy soil. A structural engineer will be able to tell you the maximum, feasible depth.

Yes, you can excavate in the winter, but it might make the job harder. Frozen ground is harder to dig, and snow or ice can make the work site more hazardous. A contractor may need special equipment and techniques, such as ground-thawing methods, to break through frozen soil. Although winter excavation is possible, it may take longer and be more costly than excavating during warmer months.

In the United States, a depth of 36 inches (three feet) for underground water lines is the accepted industry standard. This depth varies from location to location based on local conditions. In areas with colder winters, they may be buried deeper to prevent frozen well water pipes : This is usually at least six inches below the frost level. The International Plumbing Code calls for a minimum of 12 inches below grade.

It’s possible to transplant trees as tall as 50 feet when an experienced tree planting service uses the right equipment. However, a tree with a trunk larger than two or three inches in diameter needs to be handled by a professional in order to yield successful transplanting results. Consulting a tree planting professional is the best way to tell if your large tree can be safely transplanted.
