"The best carpet cleaning job I have ever had done in my 15 years of home ownership. Our front room had been heavily soiled in an area due to small children and dinner parties with other small children. I was not successful in trying to get it up. Other carpet cleaners "cleaned" the carpets and when done it just looked like old carpet that had been cleaned even though the carpet was only 2.5 years old. Christopher not only got them clean but made them look like new again! The carpet regained it sheen and "fluffiness". I was honestly astonished at how good they looked. I had thought some of the spots may be stains but he got them up with ease. Here was my experience: I called Busy Bee based on reviews from this website after using the national chains and all the rest without success. When I called Christopher, the owner/operator, answered. I told him specifically that I was looking for the "wizard of spot removal" and not just a one hour carpet cleaning. I was looking for someone who would take the time to clean and restore the carpet and not leave till it was done correctly. He was very friendly and down to earth and told me that he was not the fastest nor the cheapest for that reason. If it was possible to he would do it. He arrived early, was very friendly and very down to earth clearly stating from the beginning that his business model depended on happy customers that understand a quality cleaning. Then he went to work. He vacuumed first! Never seen that done before. He uses a trailer mounted machine but uses a rotating head that I had never seen before and went over each room several times taking his time. It took longer and cost more than a one hour carpet cleaning but the results speak for themselves. The carpets look like new. But it didn't end there. He called back a few days later to check in, like he said he, would to make sure none of the spots reappeared. I told him that all was good except one red spot which I forgot to tell him about when he was here so he could treat it. He offered to come back and take care of it but I didn't feel that was fair as I live a ways out, so I declined and said we would just get it next time. He then let me in on a carpet cleaners secret on how to get red out of carpet. (My carpet is a very light tan.) He even offered to come by and give me some of the product which I again declined due to the distance. But I got the product he recommended and followed his instructions and it came out with ease. Service after the fact! The last national chain I used told me the carpets were as clean as they were gonna get and would not come back without charge. They were obviously wrong as the carpets were even dirtier when Busy Bee showed up and he not only got rid of the new dirt but also the old left by the last guys. He also told me that 2.5 year old carpet should not look as bad as it did and was confident that I would like the results when he was done. I really liked his humble confidence and he was right. If you are looking for the cheapest and quickest this is not the company for you; call one of the national chains. But if you are looking for quality and quite possibly the best this IS the company you are looking for."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should clean your panels at least twice a year. It depends on your location. In dusty climates (think the Arizona desert), you may need to clean your panels more frequently. Dust can dramatically impact the electrical output. If you live in a climate with extreme weather, you may want to check your panels seasonally.

Leaving a significant amount of snow on your roof can be risky. Most roofs are designed to handle about 20 pounds per square foot of snow, but exceeding this limit can lead to a roof collapse. A collapse can cause severe damage to your home and belongings and poses a physical danger to anyone inside. Furthermore, heavy snow accumulation increases the risk of ice dams, which can cause leaks and water damage to your roof, attic, and interior walls.

Flat roofs are a solid option for people who want extra outdoor space. Flat roofs are very common in other parts of the world and only recently has the U.S. started to see the benefit in the increased space. Flat roofs are also easier to maintain and pose much less of a safety risk, which allows for more DIY work for handy homeowners. Some people also build green or living roofs that grow plant life.

While it’s not completely necessary for them to operate properly, as the occasional rainfall can rinse away dirt and debris, manually cleaning solar panels from time to time can keep them operating more efficiently.

Dirt, debris, pollen, and bird droppings can collect on the surface of the panels. Depending on the amount of solar panels you have, this can add up over time, so set a regular maintenance schedule. Moreover, if you live in a climate with little to no rainfall, more debris can accumulate, causing inefficiencies that would be clear in your electricity bill.

It is possible to wash your own roof, but we don’t recommend it. First, getting up on any roof is dangerous without proper safety equipment, especially if wetting a metal roof and making the surface slick. Additionally, it’s easy to damage your roof or force water between roof seams if you use a power washer, which can lead to property damage. Hiring a professional roof cleaner will save you time, keep you safe, and ensure that your roof looks new again without damaging it in the process. Plus, roof cleaning is a relatively affordable home improvement project.
