"Shaunna and Shamond came to my home today for carpet cleaning as well as a general clean of three of my bathrooms. Initially, I booked with Green Pro for the carpet cleaning however, when they said they also provide regular cleaning services, I added it on for my bathrooms. As a mother of two young children and a busy household, I needed help. I am so glad Shaunna and Shamond treated my home with care and delivered on cleanliness. They each ensured my satisfaction was above average and provided an excellent service in a time of need. Thank you both for being so kind and delivering great service!"

"Cameron was very thorough and also cleaned the carpet in two high use areas in one of the downstairs bed rooms. He uses a portable cleaner that didnâ t involve leaving the outside doors open. He was very pleasant to speak to and understood my frustration with my sonâ s cat. A cat owner himself. His charge was quite reasonable and considering the extra areas which were also nicely cleaned he deserved more than requested. I donâ t usually use cash but thankfully had enough. Would definitely use his services again."

"Bev was careful, experienced, and most of all wanted to do a thorough job. She worked very hard, taking few breaks, and working independently. The only con was the time it took her, and that was due to not having our carpets cleaned for two years! She definitely wanted it cleaner when she left than when she arrived, and indeed, she did do that by far!!!!"

"Amber has been cleaning my home for the last 8 years and I am always happy with the outcome. She has great customer service with a bright and sparkling personality that makes anyone feel better. She also has a great work ethic, is professional and goes above and beyond. I have even used her services for a one-time deep clean move-out of a tenant in a rental property that I own. I thought the stains from the bathtub would force me to have to resurface the entire tub, but Amber was able to get the bathtub (and entire apt) sparkling clean! I appreciate that she uses non-toxic cleaners that are pet safe and my overall experience has been nothing but amazing."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

Moss grows in dark areas of roofs, including in corners and gutters. If left alone, it can grow under roofing and cause permanent damage. Here’s how to remove moss from metal roofs

  • Soak the moss to soften it

  • Scrub it away with a soft-bristled brush, or pick it off with your hands (be sure to wear gloves)

  • Use a moss remover that’s compatible with metal roofing, following the manufacturer’s directions

  • Remove dead moss and rinse the roof thoroughly

  • Prevent future moss growth by trimming branches, cleaning gutters, and attaching zinc strips to moss-prone areas

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.

You could void your roof warranty using a power washer if you have a newer roof. With an older roof, you could knock loose older shingles. On the other hand, some people safely use a pressure washer to remove moss from a metal roof. Although you may want to use a pressure washer, the truth is that you probably don’t need it to knock moss loose. A garden hose and brush will do the job just fine and in a safer manner than a pressure washer.

Ideally, you will tackle removing algae from your roof during spring or summer when the weather is drier and warmer. Because algae tends to grow during the colder and wetter months, you want to tackle this project before the temperature drops to hopefully keep it from coming back at all.
