"I initially hired Bill to regrade/reslope my property to fix a drainage problem, but ended up hiring him to strip my hill of kudzu and put in retaining walls. Great to work with, excellent work performed, great value for the entire project. I got three times the work for roughly the same price another landscaping company was going to charge for only one part of the project. I plan to use Bill's services again when I'm ready to do the next two phases of my yard improvement projects."

We've worked hard in hiring, on-the-job training , and in continuing education to instill a culture that prioritizes Quality over quantity, as well as safety, customer service, communication, and cleanliness. We make it our goal to ensure that our finished projects and customer experience reflects our values. A story about the Owner, "When I was younger, my uncle Stan owned a roofing company in Southwest Idaho.. He used to give me a hundred bucks per roof (a lot of money to a 15-16 year old kid in rural Idaho) to show up after school and on weekends to tear off a roof. As time went on, I learned more about how to install underlayment, how shingles overlap, the basics. I learned the value of hard work at a young age and began to understand the importance of skilled labor in the Workforce. During the years after College I found myself with the opportunity to work in Customer Service, Sales, and eventually supervision, and found a knack for sales, as well as training and motivating people. That experience has been invaluable in working with owners and clients, as well as to our overall success." Dillon Stringfield (29) Stringfield Roofing intends to make a positive difference in the community and keep customers dry, safe and happy for years to come.

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

An active cleaning agent and a drain snake is the best way to clean a main sewer line. You can purchase a regular or enzyme drain cleaner or make a DIY drain cleaner with baking soda. Use your chosen solution at least once a month or as needed to keep your sewer line clear.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

Clearing typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the blockage size and location.

You should inspect and clean your French drain at least once per year to keep it in good working order. Regular maintenance can help identify clogs, buildup, and damage before they become bigger problems, which increases the lifespan of your drain. The frequency with which a drain clogs can depend on factors like the amount of debris, the quality of the installation, and the type of filter used. If your drain accumulates a lot of sediment, it may require more frequent cleaning. It's also a good practice to check the access and exit points after heavy storms. If you notice reduced drainage or any signs of a clog, clean the drain as soon as possible.

It’s sometimes difficult to distinguish a clog from a frozen drainpipe since ice technically causes a clog. If the temperature doesn’t tip you off, there are a few additional signs that your pipe is frozen. Look for condensation and frost around the pipes. Ice in pipes can cause a banging or clanking noise as opposed to a clog from a softer material.
