When we realized our tree needed cut down, we were quoted 8,000 dollars to take down my tree by a local company in Norman. Samuel Augustus General contracting was able to remove it for 2000.00. Seriously, folks, he is the guy you want. If in Norman, dont waste your time with local tree service companies; they will destroy your bank account. "I had my roof installed 5years ago by this company. We have in those 5 years had several high wind/hail incidents and my roof has had zero problems. Well the last high winds popped off about a 6 foot section of the roof cap. I contacted them today and they were able to send someone out and repair it. "These guys were incredible!   We have been experiencing a large number of earthquakes which makes the necessity of having a sound foundation. They dug at least 4-foot holes in hard clay and still completed the job in a day and a half.  Afterwards, they took their time to make sure all windows and doors opened and closed properly.  they also measured the floor with a level to make sure it was even.  they caulked around all the windows in which they installed the piers.  I would highly recommend them for a job well done.  Very professional and friendly.  they also cleaned the area after completing the job.

"This is a good company, I would hire them again. They did good work and Caleb seems to know a great deal about trees and cares about doing things right. He's also environmentally sensitive, which I appreciate.
Some difficulty in getting calls returned at the beginning and the end, though. After some delays due to a truck tire blowing out Caleb & his crew showed up and carefully did all the work we'd agreed on. After that he and I walked around inspecting the job. I saw one more worrisome big branch over the roof that needed to be removed and he agreed it posed a risk to the house. They took care of that and cleaned up after themselves. The price was exactly what had been quoted, including the Angie's List discount, plus the agreed upon extra for the extra branch.  They left behind a saw and I called the company immediately to come get it, but never heard back from them.

"It went really well, better than expected. Mr. King was great to work with as he provided me several options for water proofing (for the future) and he installed a sump pump which is what I needed as the first step. He was on time, cleaned up after the job was done (and during) and wanted to make sure we were very happy with his work. I waited to do a review because I wanted to see how the sump pump worked after rain. We have had a couple of good rain events since it was installed and we heard it working and doing its job. The unit is a little loud, but knowing it is working and moving the water out of the crawlspace is all that matters to me."
