"Their prices are fantastic, their work is professionally complete. I used them for repair after another company came in to install downspouts and drainage system and had damaged my sprinkler system. Pro Sprinkler of Tulsa came in, located the issues and made it like new."

"We had a sewer line blockage and called the home warranty company that we have been with for a while for a plumber to come out and clean the line. After 30 minutes of not being able to get his mini auger through the line he said we had a collapsed sewer line. We were looking at a $5,000 to $6,000 repair. I called Dibble Plumbing who was listed with Home Advisor for a second opinion and Jerry came out the next morning. He showed up with the proper equipment and had the sewer line cleaned out within 15 minutes. They did an excellent job and at a very reasonable price on a day that was 25 degrees outside. I am extremely pleased with their service and they will be the first on my list to call for plumbing needs. By the way, I am cancelling the home warranty program!"

"Highly recommend this company for anything plumbing related. Jeff was detailed in his work and respectful of property. After multiple hires of other plumbing companies in the past and then not working out, I’m thrilled to have someone I can regularly call on now."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should screw your flange to the subfloor, including cement. The best way to get this done is to predrill holes into the concrete using a hammer drill and a ¼-inch concrete bit. Be careful when you’re ready to bolt your flange down, as you can accidentally crack it. You can avoid this issue by not installing the screws too deep. Or, you can opt for a flange with a stainless steel ring so you don’t have to worry about cracking the plastic.

If you notice water coming out of the bottom of your tank or the flush handle, you obviously have a leaking tank. Water on the side of the tank can indicate cracks. Other signs include the toilet running and flushing without anyone touching the handle, needing to jiggle the handle to make the water stop after flushing, or needing to hold the handle down to empty the water tank.

The cost to install a new toilet typically runs from $225 to $530. This doesn’t include the price of the toilet itself, which can cost $90 to $1,500 depending on the model and features you choose. You can save money if you choose to install a toilet yourself. However, you might want to hire a pro for this project.

"Due to the many complexities of replacing a toilet flange, it is typically a job best left to the pros," says Jeff Botelho, Angi Expert Review Board member and plumber. "Many times it isn't as simple and straightforward as 'pop off the old one and pop on a new one' because the flange is either glued on (PVC/ABS), soldered on (brass/copper), or caulked in place with a lead & oakum joint (cast iron) and none of these things can be easily reversed without years of training and repetitive practice."

You definitely can over-tighten toilet tank bolts. Unlike some other materials, porcelain can’t bend or flex, so when you over-tighten a screw into it, it could break against the added pressure. Only tighten them as much as needed to keep them in place and firm; any more and you could risk breaking the porcelain.

This rumbling noise after flushing may sound like a hammer or knocking inside the walls. When you flush, it opens a valve so additional water can come in. However, if the valve malfunctions, then this rush of water has nowhere to go, which makes all the excess water hit your pipes and create a loud hammering sound.
