"I had no idea where to begin or what colors I even wanted. Terri took the time to visit not only my home but also visit with me. Through our conversation she was able to create a design that truly represented ME. I recall that when she left my home after we met that first day that I felt all the worries & wondering how I could do this just dissolve. It was a great feeling & I love my new kitchen!"

"Our home was a total disaster until Nicole came in and straightened it out over the course of a few days. We were definitely hanging onto a variety of items, and she was great at making us feel at peace with the process of donating or otherwise disposing of items. At the end of her time with us, our home was completely transformed. It basically feels like a brand new property, and we are so excited about that. We plan to hire Nicole again in the near future and would encourage anyone in the market for organization to give her serious consideration. She is an amazing organizer and also just a great person."

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent.
My project is far from complete.  I intend to continue to use Vicki and her expert advice until the end !!!!"

"Peri has done an incredible job working with our family. She juggled 4 different rooms for various members of the family and well exceeded our expectations. She really takes time to personalize each room, find unique pieces, add small touches to make the room feel inviting, peaceful and comfortable. I would highly recommend Perri to everyone and can't wait to have her assistance with more projects in my home. Perri has a gift of creating beauty in each space. She also has a way of incorporating special and memorable pieces into each room. She can truly do anything and I can't recommend her highly enough!"

"

Did a good job, providing 2 layouts to choose from.  Completed design and sent email and snail mail paint and furniture samples in a little over a month from starting the process.  The previous estimate was 2-3 weeks so it wasn't so late.  My only disappointment was the design was not for the complete room.  They told me that the missing area was considered an entry way or hallway and could be designed for an additional fee.  I did not want to pay an additional and accepted their explanation, but on second thought, in my opinion, it isn't really separate.  There is a large archway one-third of the way into the room, but I have never considered it as two separate rooms and no one visiting my home has ever mentioned it.  Every room has an entrance.  I wouldn't call the way to get into a room as a separate room. Other than that, I would say a got a great deal overall.

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

In Tulsa, start home staging right away if you’re planning to list during the busy spring market, notice weather-related damage, or want to stand out in competitive neighborhoods. Homes with outdated finishes or visible wear benefit from prompt staging. If your home is already well-maintained or market activity is slow, minor updates can wait. Keep an eye on local real estate trends and plan ahead for tornado season disruptions.

Helpful?

For safer home staging in Tulsa, choose non-toxic, low-VOC paints and ensure rooms are well-ventilated, especially during humid summers. Secure or remove small décor items and opt for cordless window coverings to reduce hazards. Avoid staging with plants known to be toxic to pets. Select durable, washable fabrics for furniture and consider temporary safety gates for open areas. Local staging experts can recommend Tulsa-tested, child- and pet-safe products.

Helpful?

In Tulsa, expanding cracks, doors that suddenly stick, or nail pops may signal foundation movement needing attention. Minor roof leaks or peeling paint can worsen quickly with Oklahoma’s frequent storms. Musty odors or uneven heating often point to hidden moisture or HVAC issues. Flickering lights or warm outlets suggest electrical concerns. Addressing these early during home staging helps prevent bigger, costlier repairs later.

Helpful?

In Tulsa, watch for foundation movement signs like uneven floors, sticking doors, or visible cracks—these can complicate staging. Older homes, especially in historic districts, may have closed-off layouts or limited natural light, making furniture placement tricky. Water stains or outdated wiring are red flags. If you notice any of these issues, consult a local pro before starting your home staging project to avoid setbacks.

Helpful?

Before staging your Tulsa home, check for any required permits and review HOA guidelines, especially in historic or planned communities. Interview several local staging professionals and verify their experience with Tulsa’s unique housing styles. Schedule a home inspection to catch hidden issues early. Plan your timeline around local weather patterns and events, allowing extra time during tornado or ice storm seasons to keep your project on track.
