"Groundworks did a great job with getting my porch and sidewalk stable and lifted up to almost exactly where it was to begin with!! I am extremely happy with the job that was done! Jose Viddaurri was the foreman for the job done at my house. I cannot say enough good things about him! He went above and beyond to make sure he did the job correctly! He was extremely patient and answered all of the questions that I had as he went along! From explaining what he was doing as he drilled the holes in the concrete to finishing picking up the foam that was blown around, he did an exceptional job! Give this guy a raise!!!!! I can?t say much about the co-foreman (Tony) who spent more time on his phone than he did working. I think I picked up more scattered foam than he did. I would recommend Groundworks to anyone looking to get work done at their house."

"They've installed trim, and also finished up some interior painting that I didn't have time for. I would recommend them to anybody needing similar work done. They're just really professional, and their process was very easy to deal with."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

For minor issues before scheduling glass and mirror service, prioritize safety. Tulsa temperature swings cause small cracks to expand rapidly, so apply clear packing tape as a temporary fix. Improve bathroom ventilation to slow mirror edge deterioration. Never handle broken glass without heavy gloves, and always use plywood to board up shattered windows. Leave the removal of large, structural glass panels entirely to local professionals to prevent severe injuries.

Helpful?

Hidden expenses during glass and mirror service stem from underlying frame damage discovered after severe Tulsa storms. In older homes, disturbing lead paint around window frames requires professional remediation. You will encounter added expenses if inspectors require bringing all nearby glass up to current safety codes. Additionally, expect extra charges for temporary boarding if severe weather causes supply chain delays across OK.

Helpful?

Before beginning glass and mirror service, verify your contractor holds a valid state license. Check with local authorities to determine if your project requires permits, and review any restrictions if you live in a historic Tulsa neighborhood. Take photos of the existing glass and frames to document their condition. Finally, contact your homeowner's insurance provider to confirm coverage, especially if you are dealing with OK storm damage.

Helpful?

Combining glass and mirror service with other home upgrades is a smart strategy. In OK, pairing new energy-efficient windows with HVAC servicing ensures your systems handle extreme weather effectively. For bathroom remodels, coordinate mirror and shower glass installations with tile work to streamline local inspections. Plan these bundled projects four to eight weeks in advance to secure availability during busy Tulsa remodeling seasons.

Helpful?

When comparing quotes for glass and mirror service, watch out for professionals who lack a valid state license or a verifiable Tulsa business address. You should avoid contractors who refuse to provide written estimates. After OK storm seasons, be wary of unusually low bids from out-of-town workers. Finally, ensure the quote includes disposal fees and mentions safety glazing requirements for hazardous locations like shower enclosures.
