"The motor of my living room ceiling fan (70's vintage, came with the house) had seized up -- too expensive and too ugly to fix! I bought a new fan and found Brooks Electric on Angie's List. I called on Monday, made an appointment for Tuesday. Dathan Brooks called to let me know when he was on the way, so I knew what time to leave work to meet him at the house. He arrived promptly and began work right away. He removed the old fan, assembled the new one and during installation, found that he needed an extra electric box because of the newer design. The new fan looks and runs great! After the fan was installed, Dathan looked at the electric box in the garage and the outside grounding and gave me some advice on work to be done to update the system. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional during this visit, explained everything clearly. I recommend Brooks Electric and will definitely call him back when I'm ready for the updates."
