"Mr. [Member Name Removed], in 50 years of installing shingle roofs, we have never seen run-off from shingles stain concrete. After the first few rains when a new roof is installed, it is common for loose granules and a thin layer of oil to wash off of the new shingles. After 7 years, there is nothing left to wash into the gutters from the shingles. This was substantiated by the shingle manufacturer. It is unfortunate that algae is growing on your brick and concrete, but are not responsible for such issues which are unrelated to the roof installation."
