"Price was a bit higher than some but in the middle overall. Had quotes from $1900-$5100. Project included pressure wash, scraping, some wood replacement/repair, caulking of all joints, painting with quality satin finish Sherwin Williams exterior. One color change for front door. Prep was done in one day. Wood repairs and 95% of painting done day two. Finish painting and clean up morning of day three. Great quality and workers. TCB coordinated schedule with gutter company so painting was done after gutters came down and then new gutters were installed after painting completed."

To prepare the paneling, you must ensure the surface is free of cracks, holes, and protrusions by filling any indentations and sanding rough spots to create a smooth surface. An alternative is to remove the paneling and apply the wallpaper directly to the underlying drywall or plaster, provided it is in good condition.

Walls should be as smooth as possible before applying peel-and-stick wallpaper. Although you technically can apply wallpaper on textured walls, the peel-and-stick variety won’t last long without a clean, smooth surface for the adhesive to stick to. If you have textured walls, consult a pro about removing the textured finish before moving forward with wallpaper.

You shouldn’t need extra adhesive for peel-and-stick backsplash tile. The adhesive on the back of the tile sheets should do the trick. However, if you experience issues with the tile peeling or falling off, make sure the wall you’re working on isn’t textured, as that can prevent the materials from properly adhering.
