"I had C&M Plumbing Bartlesville OK come to my home on Jan 26 2022 to swap out a gas log in my fireplace that I had purchased at Lowes. They got to my house at 12:01 and presented me with a bill for $289 at 12:25! I tried to question the plumber about the over charge but all to no effect. I pad way to much for a job that should have been handles in a trip charge/service call. I FEEL RIPPED OFF! Never again."

"Beware of very high pricing! Please shop around and get multiple quotes. We called Gordon's because their name was on the furnace of a house we bought. It ended up being a gas control valve. They quoted me $1,200 to repair it. I knew something was off so I told them I'd think about it, and ended up having to pay a $99 service fee for them to come look at it. I did some research and called another company we used before. Parts and labor were $400 total for the same problem/fix and they fixed it within an hour. No service fee charged. What a rip. Call that a $99 lesson learned. Not only that, when we called to ask them to initially come out they did not tell us up front it would cost $99 to just look and diagnose it. I tried calling Gordon's today to reconcile this problem and they stuck to their guns. So I'm writing this to ask people to please consider getting a second quote to prevent double or in my case, triple paying for an easy fix."

"HORRIBLE!!!!! I hired this company and paid them $1000 up front. Plumbers in the area were booked out a month. And i needed the leaks fixed in my mud room and under the house. To make a long story short: they were over three hours late they left damages to my home there is a MAJOR leak still pouring hundreds of gallons of water into my backyard at this very moment & a leak under my sink My NEW dishwasher is still not completly hooked up or working they wont answer our calls AND now I have to pay a new plumber at least $1100 to start a job that i already paid this company $1000 to do!"

Note that this estimated time does not include the time for repair, drain cleaning, or any other services you may need. 

Knowing the signs can alert you to a clogged drain line. Clogs cause slow drainage or cause no drainage (if there’s a complete blockage). You may also notice foul odors, gurgling noises, water backing up in other appliances on the same line, or a poorly flushing toilet. If you experience any of these issues and think your line might be clogged, call a plumber.

Unlike regular cleanings, snaking your sewer line should be done as needed. There’s no reason to snake your sewer line if you don’t have any noticeable issues, like slow drainage or plugged drains. You can add it to your regular sewer cleaning checklist as a prevention method (on the same 18- to 22-month schedule), but it’s not always necessary. 

Even with a high-resolution camera, what you're looking at on the screen may not be recognizable to the untrained eye. Your plumber should be willing to walk you through the video and explain what they found. With high-res images, bright lighting, and self-leveling technology, you should get clear, steady views of the pipes that make up your plumbing system.
