"A crew from Groundworks installed eight floor supports and encapsulated our crawl space last week. Jorge, Isaac, Kenny, Zacch, and Anthony did a great job! They worked very long hours to complete our project in a timely fashion and were great to interact with. They identified several plumbing and air duct problems and brought them to my attention. Jorge, the team leader, was great about communicating with me and keeping me well informed. The after job clean-up was very thorough. Jorge has been available by phone for my questions even after they have moved on to another job. These guys are very deserving of five stars. Also, I want to give a shout out to Anthony who did our inspection/estimate. He was very thorough and patient and made everything understandable. Another five-star guy!"
"Arrived earlier than expected time. Installation was completed the same day(3 to 3 1/2 hours). Installers were courteous, personable and professional during the install. Area was levelled and back to normal. Would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work completed."
"These guys were incredible! We have been experiencing a large number of earthquakes which makes the necessity of having a sound foundation. They dug at least 4-foot holes in hard clay and still completed the job in a day and a half. Afterwards, they took their time to make sure all windows and doors opened and closed properly. they also measured the floor with a level to make sure it was even. they caulked around all the windows in which they installed the piers. I would highly recommend them for a job well done. Very professional and friendly. they also cleaned the area after completing the job. "
"A large ice storm in Oklahoma City damaged a number of trees on our property. Ours was just one of many, many neighborhoods hit hard by this storm. So the clean up workload was enormous in our area. We wanted to find not only a debris removal service, but someone who would know what to do in order to preserve the trees that could be saved. Ideally, we wanted an arborist. We found Earth & Arbor on Angie's List and got in touch with them. Understandably, all the quality people in this line of work were extremely busy in the aftermath of such a major ice event. I left a message with Earth & Arbor and a few other recommended services. Caleb with Earth & Arbor was the first to return my call. He was courteous on the phone but was very clear about how busy they were and how much of a delay there could be in doing the work. He came by within a few days and gave his assessment of the damage and an estimate on the clean up. Again, he emphasized how backed up they were with work, trying to deal with emergency situations first. Ours certainly wasn't in that category. It did take quite a while to get to us but Caleb stayed in touch throughout the wait, which was greatly appreciated. Once he and his crew got here they did quality work. We lost a tree in our backyard and had significant debris all over our deck. Earth & Arbor did a good job with all of it. They gave us a fair price, including an Angie's List discount, and they handled themselves very professionally. There were a few loose ends with the final clean up but nothing significant. We like their work and really came to respect Caleb's honesty, expertise and his friendly demeanor. We will be using Earth & Arbor in the future and highly recommend them, not just for tree trimming, but for maintaining a healthy landscape year round. "

"UPDATE 7/9/18: NOT a happy camper. I was so excited to get a much needed french drain. I would stand out in the street just to watch the water exit into the street. However, I am less than pleased now. The pipe was barely buried. Even the littlest bit of rain washes the soil away and exposes the pipe. I could have dirt brought in to pile on top of it but I don't feel like I should have to. I think it should be a given that it would be buried. There is a big hole which is where I believe two pipes are supposed to meet. Chris at Pier-tech did come out after I left him know it was leaking around a downspout a few months ago. But he had not responded to my texts or phone call regarding this new issue. It's a hole that even when I fill it with dirt, it keeps sinking in again. Something is not right! Original review: Clint Majors and Jose (didn't catch his last name) were great! We desperately needed a French drain. Clint found ways to help me save money and most especially understood my need to protect the drain from my two big Huskies who like to dig. I cut wire to lay over the top of it and they took the rock they would not be able to use under the drain (couldn't go deep enough because of utilities) and put it over the top of the wire. They even staked down the wire for me. It rained a lot today and I was out in the street taking pictures and video of the water running OUT of my yard and into the street to the city drains!!!! Believe me, I am doing a happy dance!! Clint assured me if I have any issues to let him know and he will come check things out. Oh, I should mention they had to HAND DIG the trench because the utilities were buried too close to where they needed to place the drain! Thank you, Clint and Jose!"
Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts
If your home cannot accommodate a traditional garage door, there are plenty of other options to choose from. Consider installing a door made of glass, fiberglass, sheet metal, or faux wood. You can also choose a unique style like a folding, tilt-up, sliding, or carriage door. Consult a local garage door installer to discuss the options available for your garage shape and size.
Storm doors aren’t necessarily outdated. In fact, there are many benefits to installing a storm door, including improving your home’s energy efficiency, keeping pests out of your house, and protecting your home against the elements. However, storm doors aren’t great if you live in an area with high humidity because the door can trap heat and potentially damage your front door.
Outswing doors are more popular for exterior doors as they offer more room for moving items in and out of a home. And because the hinges are on the outside of the door, they’re more secure against potential break-ins. But, outswing doors are more susceptible to the elements and are more expensive. Comparing inswing vs. outswing doors depends on your budget, needs, and overall preference.
Storm handles using universal hole spacings are interchangeable regardless of brand and model. However, some older models may require specific hardware. In these cases, we recommend replacing your storm door altogether instead of spending hours looking for a replacement part online. Newer models also tend to be more durable and efficient, so a new storm door could be a worthy investment.
A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.
