You will get the most thorough cleaning ever or it's free! And you will feel overjoyed with your beautiful, soft fresh smelling carpet- I guarantee it!- Jeff Citro, Quality is our credo, so if you are looking for a cheap, brush-off the dirt, wet for days carpet cleaning please call another company, we just don't work that way. We take our time, do the job right, never rush through you to get to someone else and most floors are dry before we leave.

"Great job. The installers were excellent. Scott, the salesperson, was great to work with as well. We loved it so much that we did 2 other rooms to boot."

Since 1989 we've been serving all OKC metro areas, offering carpet, furniture, tile /grout floors and showers, air/duct, and dryer vent cleaning. We don't cut corners, we clean them. If you can walk on it, we clean it. Ronnie Schweitzer, the owner of Sunbell Carpet Cleaning, is also a working member of the crew that cleans your home. "I was raised on a small farm in Blanchard America, south of Oklahoma City. After I graduated from high school, I spent four great years in the UNITED STATES NAVY. I earned an honorable discharge and gained employment with a local carpet cleaning company. It was a job I quickly learned and enjoyed. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend many courses and seminars about carpet and furniture care. After ten successful years managing someone else's business, I opened Sunbell Carpet Cleaning and have been providing first rate quality service to my patrons since 1989. Reader's Choice Awards winner 3 years 2016, 2018, and 2021.

"In my 40 years of housekeeping he was by far the best cleaner I have had. Very personable and I was impressed with one rug that had an odor. He said he would clean it but because it was a wool rug they tend to be that way so he saved me the trouble and the money which made sense."

"Even though our repair job was a small, inexpensive one, JD managed to come to us in a very quick and timely fashion. He called before arriving and arrived promptly and right on time. JD was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient doing the repair. Working with a very difficult weave of carpet to match, he did so with the patch to a degree much better than I ever expected to obtain. I would thoroughly recommend JD to anyone needing a similar repair job."

"The workmen on the job were simply awesome. The owner (?)/manager/salesman/order desk/etc named Sam needs an education in many arenas of business. Stepping foot on a jobsite might be a good start. They were given item descriptions/model numbers for bidding and buying. Decisions on materials were already determined for their ease in ordering prior to pricing or stating the job. . We were lied to regarding items "on order", when they planned to arrive on the job, when job would be completed, etc. In order for some tile to arrive, we gave them a three week start date when they told us it would be available in two. The estimated three week completion turned into nearly three MONTHS primarily due to inaccurate and non-ordering. There were two occasions of materials damaged in shipment, grant no fault of theirs. However, we were told the items were ordered when they were not and amazingly what took many days to replace originally managed to arrive within two working days when told they would receive no more money until job was completed. This was a fairly large project that they assured us they were capable of completing. Three different occasions of tile not ordered or short ordered, not returning phone calls, avoiding phone calls. A blatant disrespect as a customer....whatever Sam was doing at the moment was more important than the customer they were on the job with. OH, the coupons offered. Never did receive credit for ANY that we asked and showed them........The best things about this job were the workmen on the job! They were professional in every way. The delays were not on them but their boss. Second best thing.....they are now done."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

A stair runner can be cheaper than a carpet and will definitely save money over the cost of refinishing hardwood floors and stairs. The price depends, however, on the fabric and quality of the runner. A wool stair runner can be more expensive than an inexpensive polyester carpet and vice versa. Keep an eye on your budget, knowing that the higher quality the carpet and the carpet pad, the better the carpet will wear over time.

No, thick carpet padding isn’t necessarily better than thinner padding. The appropriate padding thickness will depend on the type of carpet and the amount of foot traffic in the area.

For example, thick padding works well in low-traffic areas, like bedrooms, where you have soft and plush carpeting. However, thick carpet padding can damage low-pile carpet, which is used in the busiest parts of your home (like hallways and entryways). For that reason, it’s best to use thinner, heavier padding underneath carpet in high-traffic areas.

Nylon carpet is one of the longest-lasting carpet types available. It holds up to wear and tear and resists staining. Plus, its synthetic composition means it’s available in a huge range of colors and styles. Given the choice between low-pile carpet and high-pile carpet, the low-pile carpet will last longer, thanks to its tight loops and dense structure.

The complexity of installation depends on the type of flooring you choose and the level of expertise required to install it. While some materials, like vinyl or laminate, offer relatively straightforward installation processes suitable for DIY enthusiasts, others, such as natural stone or hardwood, often require professional assistance from a flooring company to ensure proper fitting and longevity.

You can lay carpet by yourself, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you should. DIY carpet installation can save you on labor costs, but you’ll have to pay more to get the right tools and equipment first. A knee kicker, carpet stretcher, and seam roller are a few pieces of equipment you’ll need that you may not already have lying around. And keep in mind that repairing or replacing carpet later because of a bad installation is twice as expensive as paying a pro to handle it in the first place.
