Small jobs welcome

"Project: Clear a clogged drain and re-set a toilet. Responded to my inquiry promptly. Available to complete the job quickly. Educated us on how to avoid the problem causing the clogged drain in the future. Did a nice job of cleaning up the work site, but we did have a couple of dark marks on carpeting in the room in which the bathroom was located. Will definitely use his services again."

"Dan Powers. Mark came out and was very kind and very thorough. He took his time and located the problem. and said that if it was to cause us any more problems, to call, and he would come take another look. We are going to have to replace a toilet on a separate issue, and we will be calling him back to replace it. My wife and I were very, very satisfied and pleased with his work and professionalism. RETURN CUSTOMER, INDEED."

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

"They are super accommodating, very professional and highly respectful of our property as well as our emotional feelings of what was going on! They made us feel important, like we were their number one and only job for the day and the only one that mattered! So many plumbing companies do not give off this impression, which makes the customer feel like they are all out to take advantage of the consumer. It was truly a refreshing experience not to have that feeling with them!"

"I was extremely pleased with Ty Spears and his two guys that helped him out.
Every morning they would show up on time and ready to work. They were very respectful of my property.
At the end of the day they would always clean their mess up and made sure everything was put back the way it was.
Ty went above and beyond the duties that he was paid for. He went and bought extra material to make sure the inside of my house was protected in case the windows that were being taken out shattered.
My windows turned out amazing

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Baking soda and vinegar aren’t just great for making a volcano for your kid’s science project. You can also pour this dynamic duo down your shower drain to dissolve hair clogs. If that doesn’t do the trick, you can step it up with a commercial liquid drain cleaner.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

There are a few ways to unclog a toilet without a plunger. Break up the clog with homemade solutions containing soap, vinegar, and baking soda, or simply let hot water spend some time in the drain. You can also use a two-liter soda bottle filled with water to push pressurized water into the pipe to dislodge the debris (see the steps above).

Yes, frozen pipes can prevent a toilet from working correctly. If the pipes are frozen, water cannot flow, which means your toilet tank won't be able to refill after a flush. This will prevent the toilet from flushing again. Depending on which lines are frozen, the ice can also block the drain pipe, preventing water from flushing away.

As a temporary workaround, you can manually add water to the tank for each flush. To clear a frozen drain pipe, you can try filling the toilet bowl or tank with warm water and flushing to help thaw the ice. However, the best long-term solution is to unfreeze the pipes to get your toilet back in working order.

Plumbers use a variety of tools to help unclog the toughest of drain clogs, but the most common tools they use are drain snakes and augers. They try a plunger or drain snake to start, then move to heavy-duty augers, and finally try using a hydro jetter to blast away the clog with high-pressure water. Hiring a plumber to unclog a drain costs $125 to $300, largely depending on the extent and location of the clog and which of these methods is best for clearing it.
