"I was told that the plumber would arrive between 11:30 am and 1 PM on 7.3.2019. The actual arrival time was 3 PM. The two plumbers who arrived did not complete the job properly which resulted in a gas company generated warning notice. I contacted AAA and spoke to the owner who agreed to come out and resolve the incomplete job. The owner arrived in a timely manner and completed the job in a few minutes. A bad situation was turned around for the good."

While the shingles were being replaced, the installers noted that the original builder had used pine trim on the chimney housing and they were rotting. David replaced the trim with cedar (which it should have been originally) and some of the siding at a cost of the materials only. David monitored the work frequently, although his crew is very experienced and didn't need much supervision. I was very impressed with how David explained the extra things that he was doing that many roofers skip. They tried to spread the dirt around where the holes were and I would have much rather had them haul the dirt away. They came when they said they would come. They started on the date they said and finished the work in two days. I only dealt with on person. Everyone was professional and did what they were supposed to do."

Some difficulty in getting calls returned at the beginning and the end, though. After some delays due to a truck tire blowing out Caleb & his crew showed up and carefully did all the work we'd agreed on. After that he and I walked around inspecting the job. I saw one more worrisome big branch over the roof that needed to be removed and he agreed it posed a risk to the house. They took care of that and cleaned up after themselves. The price was exactly what had been quoted, including the Angie's List discount, plus the agreed upon extra for the extra branch.  They left behind a saw and I called the company immediately to come get it, but never heard back from them.
