"Express flooring started installing laminate flooring in my home on September 2nd. It has been a nightmare for me. They took off the baseboards and left all the nails in sticking up, they knew I had pets. What if you have small children ? My brother an Law came over and pulled all the nails out and put them outside where they belong. They also used a cardboard box to cover up a soft spot in my master bedroom in a traffic area. They also installed a new toilet. They put my toilet on a rotten sloped floor. I reported it to project manager Jairon he told me they will be back to fix it correctly. A week later they came back and lifted my new toilet and fixed the floor. They installed my new toilet again and they didn?t replace the seal and my toilet wasn?t flushing correctly. I reported it again. It was backed up with sxxx. I had to dig it out with a puddy knife, and go buy a seal. This company does unprofessional work. They took advantage of me. Horrible workmanship ?"

Grouting hearth tiles is one of the most important steps. It seals the tiles so heat doesn’t transfer under the tiles so easily, which can be dangerous. For this reason, heat-resistant grout is a must. Grout also prevents dust, dirt, and any other material from gathering between your tiles. Yes, it’s possible to cut tile without a wet saw; instead, you can use an angle grinder, a glass cutter, a snap cutter, tile nippers, or a rotary tool with a tile-cutting blade. A manual tile cutter or snap cutter works well for the larger tiles that wet saws are typically used for, while smaller projects might just require nippers or a glass cutting wheel. If you’re working with large quantities of tile, however, power tools are best.

The reasons not to install flooring underneath a bathtub outweigh the benefits. A properly installed bathtub will keep water from reaching the unprotected subfloor underneath. Installing a tub on top of finished flooring can lead to damage and scratches to the new floor. Also, a small leak from a tub drain may be more difficult to notice if finished flooring impedes water drips.

Unfortunately, retiled bathrooms don't always get much mileage. Because the tiles are constantly being walked on, they can wear out more quickly. However, a well-done tile job can last many decades, and with proper care and regular resealing, it can last 10 years or more before needing a retiling.

The difference between floor and wall tiles is that floor tiles generally have higher strength and porosity ratings than wall tiles. Wall tiles are typically weaker and more likely to crack or become damaged under sustained pressure like high foot traffic. 

For this reason, avoid using wall tiles on floors and vice versa.
