He was always on time, and was really good about working with me on where to install grab bars for the shower, where to install the vanity, etc. We would defintely use Community Builders again. "A young man named Arron came out to bid the job and informed me that this would be his first butcher block counter top installation. He gave me a good bid on the job so my wife and I decided to hire him and give him a little experience in the butcher block installation. We could not be happier that we did. "It was great, I'm looking at it now, it's gorgeous. The people who built it were fabulous. In terms of pricing, he was near the bottom of some of the others. He wasn’t the lowest, but he was near the bottom. In terms of the quality of the product, I couldn’t be happier. I love the quality. I would absolutely recommend them. They did a really nice job. In fact, whilst it was near the cheapest, nothing was skimped."

Gray is always a safe bet when painting concrete countertops, since concrete is a variation of gray. You may also choose black or white, but those are much starker colors that only do well in certain kitchens. 

Porcelain countertops have a fairly long life span, sometimes lasting for decades. Depending on how much wear and tear you put your countertops through, it could last 25 to 50 years. This adds to the patina of the wood, but not everyone likes the look—in which case, you may want to use a cutting board.

Epoxy is typically more affordable than granite, especially if you’re choosing a high-end slab. Most granite countertops cost $75 to $145 per square foot to install, with high-end varieties topping $185 per square foot. 

In contrast, epoxy countertops cost $50 to $150 per square foot to install. The material costs for epoxy are significantly lower than granite, but installation costs can be higher. Rather than simply cutting granite countertops to size before installation, your contractor will need to carefully pour the epoxy over an existing surface.
