"The price was way too high—he spent more time away from my home to get parts than he did working (45 minutes—away 15-20 minutes replacing parts) I asked the gentleman if the email would provide an itemized statement—he stated it should. No itemized statement—emailed twice requesting and phoned the next day asking. The lady said we don’t do those we charge by the book! What is the book?? She stated service manager was at lunch but he or she would give me a call back been 4 days since service—still no paperwork or phone call. I then went to parts store and found out the most expensive parts would have been approximately $60; these were not for my cheaper faucet. I just wanted to see the itemized charges—simple request; do they not keep records??! Trevor, who came out on March 14th was very professional and gave me estimates before he did anything—I really appreciated this. Unlike Zachbe price just seemed high for what he did."

Brown stains in your toilet bowl are most likely limescale. Limescale happens from lime being left behind from hard water evaporating. Once dried out, the minerals also catch dirt and bacteria which eventually accumulate into the brown or blackish stain you see in your toilet. To remove thick and hard limescale from your toilet, use a mixture of vinegar, lemon juice, and baking soda, and scrub with a metal scrubbing brush.

While freezing pipes are less of a concern in warmer climates, pipe insulation can still be beneficial because it helps prevent condensation on cold water pipes, reducing the risk of moisture-related issues like mold growth. It also helps maintain water temperature, reducing the energy needed to heat and cool the water, which can ultimately lower your utility bills.

National emergency plumbers usually have greater availability to address emergencies because they have more professionals at their disposal, but local plumbers may be located closer to your home and can arrive faster. We recommend contacting one or two local plumbers first to see how quickly they can arrive. Move ahead with the service if it’s within a reasonable time frame. If not, contact a national company to see if they can get out more quickly. National companies sometimes outsource work to third parties, which can often mean faster response times.

Usually it’s fine to leave a toilet clogged overnight, as long as it’s not close to overflowing. In some cases, the extra time may give the clog time to work itself out. For example, if it’s caused by an excess of toilet paper, letting it sit could result in the clog dissolving and you may be able to simply flush it away by the time you wake up.
