"Vanhook is a horrible Sanation company. They are the only ones that offer dumpster service. I called to have dumpster service. They told me it would be a couple weeks. This was Sept 2020 we are now the end of July. They don't answer there calls or text messages. My daughter n son in law tried to help by calling them to get service for me. Told them both they would be dropping off dumpster and no dumpster stopped answering there calls n text messages. We are reporting them to BBB and filing a complaint on them"

Generally speaking, it’s absolutely worth it to repair a garbage disposal, so long as it’s eight years old or younger. Once you pass that eight-year threshold, it depends on the issue. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

When a dishwasher discharges its wastewater, it uses a pump to quickly move a lot of water. If anything in the drain line or the garbage disposal impedes the high volume of water, it will back up into the sink through the drain or the garbage disposal. Following regular dishwasher maintenance tips like clearing clogs, keeping them cleared, and occasionally running the disposal will eliminate the problem.

Garbage disposals can be considered bad for the environment due to their electricity usage, but good for the environment because they reduce the food waste sent to landfills.
