"I was looking for a consistent lawn person for my huge front and back yard. I was soooo happy I Found 44 lawn care! The owner is so nice and professional. He did a full estimate on my yard for FREE, and even made suggestions I didn’t think of. My yard has never looked better, and he’s even getting my grass to grow again. I can’t recommend them enough! I’ve even referred some of my family members to him! He's always on time, consistent, and my yard and trees look great! Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"I am very pleased with the work I contracted for. The individuals who worked on the pool were friendly, courteous, and professional. The only problem was the color of the pool deck paint did not match the paint chip color. This was not the fault of Jayâ s and they will be coming back to Re-Paint the deck once the paint comes in from factory."

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

Mulch costs anywhere from $30 to $150 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. On the inexpensive end, red and black mulch are about $35 to $40 per cubic yard, and are typically made from recycled waste wood like shredded old pallets or deck material. Cedar, cypress, and rubber mulch cost anywhere from $100 to $120 per cubic yard. A pro can help you determine the type of mulch most suitable for your landscaping needs.
Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
