I had used Air Roofing a couple of times before during an Angie's List inspection special. When it came time for my father to put on a new roof I suggested he get a quote from David at Air Roofing.
David came out and looked over the roof, made suggestions, and sent a detailed quote (by email) the following day. His quote was in line with the other quote I got, but his responsiveness to my questions far exceeded the other company. Over the next several days, I probably sent over a dozen emails wanting additional information, clarifications, addresses of roofs he'd done, samples of materials, etc. Let's just say he had to do some extra work before we agreed to the contract. He was always very prompt getting back to me, either by email or phone.
We agreed to a price, signed a contract, and set a date for the following week. The shingles arrived the day before work was to be started. The next day the crew arrived early in the morning and worked late into the evening. They finished up around noon the following day. They tore off two layers of old shingles, replaced decking in a few areas, cut out and installed a ridge vent across the entire length of the top of the roof, installed 15 vents in the soffits, painted the plumbing pipes to match the roof, and did a great job of cleaning everything up. David even made arrangements with another company to come out and install new gutters for us. On the 3rd day, we did a final walk around and at that point we paid the full amount. No money was requested until the work was completed.

Jake was effective in working with us and our insurance company in helping us understand the process, from the initial visit by the claims adjustor, all the way through the final roofing install. The roofing crew were very professional and efficient. They replaced an area of bad decking, kept a clean job site and finished in just 2 days. As an additional item, we elected to have them install solar power roof vents, which will help keep our attic cooler in the hot Oklahoma summers. Every time I go outside and look at my new roof, I’m glad I used Outdoor Creations. Good job!"
"It went pretty good. I had all the materials for them to use. The kick plate was too tall. Will need to find the right size. The front door has a crack in it, which I thought would fill in with the wood filler. It was in a bad spot, so when the stain was applied, it did not fill in. I will clear coat it, add the kick plate & insulation. I will have John will come out again - will look at his coupons & get a list together. Definitely need the porch light replaced soon. We also discussed a possible electrical issue with the porch light - seems the builder /electrician (1988) may have connected the front light switch with the hall bathroom & bedroom lights. I was glad that John was able to schedule me, it was 2 months! John & Wayne were very nice & I will call again soon! "

"From our first meeting with Greg Wolter of Community Builders, until the crew left our home, this process went more smoothly than we could have imagined! We were presented with their estimate very quickly. We didn't have to haggle over pricing or features that were considered 'extras' with other companies. They were outfitting us with the best from the beginning. Mr. Wolter left a sample board with us to determine our roof color-imagine, not having to make THAT decision right then! When I called the office to inform them of our color choice, the receptionist was friendly and engaging, and forwarded our information accurately! (I LOVE THAT!) Before the end of the week, building materials were delivered to our driveway. That same afternoon, the job foreman came by to check the accuracy of the delivery so they would be ready to start the next day! The next morning at 7:30, the happy crew showed up ready to rip off a roof. My kids were home that day so we all went outside and hung out in the treehouse to watch them work, for fun. It was during that time that I noticed the foreman pointing at a place by our chimney and talking with one of the crew. The next thing I know, they are replacing about a 4-ft section of decking. I asked him about it and he said it was bad so they replaced it. Uhh, THANK YOU!!! It's the little things, really. We would never have known about that spot, and yet they took the time to do the job right by replacing it before adding any roofing materials. A company whose employees demonstrate integrity? Yes, please! I kind of expected work to stop around lunch time. After all, the guys need to eat right? The crew ate their lunch in turns so that work on the roof continued. The rest of the day went by quickly and at the end, they had been through our yard twice with the magnet picker-upper, removing any and all stray nails - no staples here! All the little 'pieces' of roofing debris were even picked up. There was nothing for us to do except wave to the crew as they left, sit back, and enjoy our new roof! It was an absolute pleasure doing business with this company! "
