"Sales process was good, courteous and helpful. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Did have a small issue with one sensor which was easily solved with a call. Control panel is easy to use and well constructed. Phone app is the best part. Not a big fan of a 2 year contract and the monthly rate feels a little high, but definitely a decent system. I had emailed them a question pertaining installing on double hung windows and never received a reply, but other than that their phone support prior to that was good."

"I took my car to them on a Saturday, and was told it would be ready a week later, specifically the next Friday.  So, I called them a week later on Saturday since I had not heard from them, and was told it would be a couple more days and ready on Monday - that they just needed to get it detailed.  (According to my insurance, this was a 3 day job).  I was told when I dropped the car off that they were working everyday including Sunday to get cars done.  But when I asked about it being done on Sunday, I was told they were not open on Sunday.
So, on Monday I got a call from them that they had damaged my car further during the process of the repair, and the roof was needing to be painted in the shop.  It was going to take 3 days for the paint to be done.  They had to call my insurance out and get the estimate changed.  The car was not ready until Friday at 5 pm, and I picked it up on Saturday.
The damage to the roof was the size of a quarter, not sure why that took 4 days in the shop to paint.  And they were pretty rude in the shop - I provided them with a cashier's check for the amount and they attempted to call the bank and verify funds.  WHAT?  All around, not a good experience.  I would like to say better things, but in general, I won't go back.  On the day I picked it up, they refused to walk me through the repairs, and I was sick of being there so long that I left.  I observed later that some of the damage was not repaired, but I won't be taking it back for another 14 days of the run around.
I understand it was after the tornado and they were busy.  Perhaps better communication would have helped, like calling me to tell me they were running behind instead of waiting for me to call them.  It was a huge inconvenience to be without a car for 2 weeks.
I will question it in the future when I see so many five star reviews for a business that is so new.

Window Tinting questions, answered by experts

The average cost for home window tinting is around $600, with most homeowners paying between $150 and $1,600. Costs can also be calculated per square foot, typically ranging from $2 to $100, or per window at around $75 each. For example, tinting one or two windows might cost between $200 and $350, while a larger project of 13 to 15 windows could range from $4,124 to $4,747.

Several factors influence the total project cost, with the number and size of the windows being the most significant. Other key factors include the type, shade, and quality of the tint film, as well as labor costs. Additional treatments, such as low-emissivity (low-E) coatings, can also increase material costs.

Window tinting offers several benefits, such as making your home more energy-efficient by blocking harsh sunlight, protecting furniture from fading, and increasing privacy. For this reason, many homeowners choose to tint only the windows in specific areas where direct sunlight and privacy are primary concerns.

While it is possible to install home window tint yourself, it is a challenging task that is often best left to professionals. The process can be tedious and time-consuming, requiring steady hands and a great deal of patience, especially for a first-time installer.

Common mistakes in DIY applications include visible bubbles, imperfections, and film that either hangs over the edges or doesn't fully cover the glass. These errors not only look unprofessional and detract from your home's curb appeal but can also reduce the tint's effectiveness in blocking sunlight and heat. If you have struggled with applying protective films to smaller items like phones or tablets, you may find this task particularly difficult.

Attempting the installation yourself and making a mistake can lead to wasted material and the additional cost of hiring a professional to fix the issues or redo the job. Although hiring a professional involves labor costs, it typically guarantees a high-quality, seamless appearance and saves you from having to do the work over again.

Yes, you can remove window tint from house windows. You can either use heat to loosen the film before peeling or scrape it away with a blade. You’ll also use a solution to wipe away any adhesive that still clings to the window.

A common way to modernize arched windows is to install interior window treatments that allow light through the curved portion up to and let you cover the bottom portion for privacy. You can also install plantation shutters to make an arched window look more modern. From the exterior, arched windows can appear outdated if they’re coupled with ornate trim, so toning down the decor can make your window look more natural with a modern design.
