"Justin contacted me immediately after inputting my info into home advisor. I had several items that needed repaired at a rental turnover. Some of the items he repaired were rehanging and repairing a broken door, faucet leak, AC duct work, and electrical issues. All items were completed within 3 days and at a very reasonable price. If you can, seal the wound with latex to prevent fungus from getting inside.

A tree growing close to a house can cause problems, but cutting it down isn’t always the best solution. Trees planted close to your home could damage your foundation as their roots grow. In addition, they can drop large branches on your house, make it easier for critters and insects to access your home, and encourage mold growth. But if the tree has been there for a long time, it may not pose a risk to your foundation, and it could be more beneficial—not to mention cheaper—to strategically trim it instead. Unfortunately, no: Homeowners’ insurance won’t cover the removal of a tree before it falls, no matter how dead or precariously positioned it is. Homeowners’ insurance usually will only apply when a tree has fallen and caused property damage.
