"YellowLite installed my solar system (36 panels, 91% of my energy requirements) in mid-Feb 2020. I have not paid a utility bill since then, and still have a $500 credit on my net metering. Not bad for an all-electric tri-level home, where I keep the AC set on 72F all summer..... I used the EnergySage website to gather quotes and do my research. Of the four quotes (one outside of EnergySage), YellowLite was the best system in terms of energy generation, as well as least expensive by a wide (about 20K) margin. The installation crew were very efficient and professional, as were all the folks who were involved in the project planning, surveys and service initiation. Communication was a bit spotty before project installation, but things really took off from there and I honesty cannot recommend YellowLite highly enough. Installation took less than one day. The SolarEdge app lets you see exactly what your system is generating every hour of every day. It's so wonderful to wake up every day and know I did something wonderful for Mother Earth, and it's paying me personal dividends as well. Even on an overcast November day, my system is producing SOLAR ENERGY. And if you do your research, you will likely find that if you need financing to go solar, your monthly loan payments will be about the same as you are currently paying to your energy provider; the difference is when your loan payments are completed, you will have FREE ENERGY for years to come. "Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"It went very well! Tim came to the apartment and looked at the issue. He told me that he will place the order for the new and more efficient unit than the old boiler and install asap. "W & W Plumbing completely saved me. To make a very long story short, we were trying to fix a plumbing problem ourselves (on a Friday at 6pm) and hit a water line. I called everywhere, and the prices were absolutely insane just to fix the pipe damage we caused (not even addressing the problem we were trying to fix). And then, A few of my neighbors recommended W & W and Joe Woosley (owner) came out to my house within 30 minutes of my phone call. What I thought would be just him coming to fix what we broke - he ended up repairing that in minutes and then asking what we were trying to fix (roots). He put a camera down and we found multiple problems. I thought he would simply give me a quote and continue to the rest of his day but he started to fix my problems on the spot. He was there all day and made me a priority to help me as best as he could. "Despite having several large trees in and near our yard, we decided to investigate the possibility of installing solar panels. We were upfront with the companies we contacted that our main concern was viability for our particular site, but also made it clear we would like to do the installation if at all practical. Icon was the most responsive and also the least expensive of the quotes we got. On her initial visit, Rachel, our salesperson, expressed concerns about the trees but said we would get a good estimate of potential electric energy production based on a follow-up site visit. We proceeded to that stage, and based on the estimates decided to install panels on both south-facing and east-facing sections of our roof. Jaye at Icon was particularly good to work with, quickly generating new plans as our thinking progressed. The installation went well, with one notable exception. The wiring through our attic was performed sloppily, with excess cable winding across the insulation and several flexible ducts inadvertently knocked loose from the collector box supplying HVAC to the upstairs. I felt that Icon did not take full responsibility, but the electrician absolutely did, and made things right. In the end, I give him a lot of credit - and also Icon for selecting such a responsible individual to subcontract their electrical work to. We have had the panels for over a year now. We have had no issues with any of the equipment, no roof leaks, and much lower electric bills. Still, production was below Icon's estimate by more than 30%. I would be the first to admit that our situation is more difficult than average to estimate, but this amount of error is surprising and disappointing. It is small consolation that Icon was not the only company to be so over-optimistic. Overall, I think Icon did about as good a job as possible for our situation. I just wish we had a more realistic idea going in what we were likely to get out of the system. [Cost does not include tax credit.]"
