"Process was straight forward. I explained what I wanted. They built it better than I was imagining and am very happy with the finished product. I am planning on hiring them again for a bathroom remodel in the not so distant future."

"Both jobs were completed efficiently & to my satisfaction. The flood lights are angled just right. I love the new shower head. Jason made sure there were no leaks & tested all features to make sure everything was working properly. Jason is always polite, personable, & ready to answer my questions. I trust him to do my projects & inform me when he can't."

"The work was outstanding! Bill explained to me the new faucet I bought was cheaply made and would not last. He helped me find another one that did not have plastic parts. I figured, he saved me money because it will last longer. Bill is very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. The motion light works great. I am so happy with his work, I will definitely contact him again in the future."

"I had a good experience. Great customer service. Very reasonable pricing. Only recommendation is that they should clean up a little better afterwards. Of course I will admit I m referring to popcorn ceiling removal."

\nI'm the kind of handyman you don’t have to second-guess. I show up on time, get the job done right, and treat your home like it’s my own. With a strong background in maintenance and hands-on problem solving, I’m comfortable tackling everything from small repairs to more detailed projects—no shortcuts, no guesswork, just solid work you can count on.\nWhat sets me apart is reliability and attention to detail. I don’t rush through jobs just to move on—I make sure it’s done clean, safe, and built to last. Whether it’s fixing, installing, or improving something around your home, I bring the right tools, the right mindset, and a strong work ethic every single time.\nIf you’re looking for someone dependable, skilled, and easy to work with, I’m your guy. Let’s get your project handled the right way.

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
Tipping a handyman is not a requirement or necessarily expected, as they should build a fair wage into the price of the job. However, some people will tip a handyman around $10 to $20 per hour or the equivalent of a day’s pay, depending on the size of the job. But it’s up to your discretion. There are no set rules for tipping a handyman service, but if they did a great job and you’re so inclined to tip, it’s encouraged and will likely be received with thanks.
There are several questions or things to know before hiring a handyman to do any work in your home.
What kind of work do they do?
Do they have proper licensing?
Do they charge for estimates?
Is the estimate for both labor and materials?
Do they provide references?
Do you provide a guarantee?
When can you start and finish the job?
Do you have any before and after photos of your work?
How long have you been doing this kind of work?
Do you clean up and dispose of waste when the job is finished?
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
