"The company was very professional. I had to have a very large Maple tree removed. They brought 2 trucks and had the work done in a short amount of time. I was worried as the tree was next to house, business and fences. They had not one issue. These guys know what they are doing. They worked with my schedule and mad sure to clean up after. I would have no doubt to recommend this crew to ANYONE that needs to have a tree trimmed or completely removed. I appreciate the work and next spring I need a different tree trimmed; I will call them again. Thank you very much"

"Frazier's Tree Service did a fantastic job. Mr. Frazier gave a knowledgeable and fair estimate of the work to be done; the crew was a well-run machine, coordinating the work and completing it with skill and accuracy, with good clean-up afterwards. All of this was done in a timely manner, too --- I am very pleased with the entire experience and would use them again for future projects."

"I recently hired this tree removal service and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience from start to finish. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing, handling even large and difficult trees. I was especially impressed by how well they protected the surrounding property, not a plant, fence, or structure was damaged during the removal. They answered all of my questions, kept me updated throughout the job, and made sure I was completely satisfied before they left. The cleanup was outstanding, my yard looked better than it did before they arrived. I can’t recommend them enough. They exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would absolutely use them again in the future."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Yes, healthy and well-placed large trees can boost property value by an average of 3% to 15%. They improve curb appeal, offer energy savings through shade and wind protection, and are often considered by appraisers during home valuation. On the flip side, removing dead or hazardous trees can also increase value by eliminating safety risks. For the biggest return, choose low-maintenance, native species that thrive in your climate.

Yes, you can prune a palm tree with a chainsaw, but a chainsaw is overkill for a job like this. You risk damaging the tree if you make a bad cut. More commonly, you’ll need pruning shears or a serrated knife to trim a palm tree, or you can use a specialized pruning saw instead of a chainsaw.

It takes anywhere from three to seven years for a stump to decompose on its own. This timeframe can depend on the kind of tree and your climate. The lower to the ground the stump is, the faster it rots. If you kill a tree stump with salt, boiling water, herbicide, light deprivation, or burning, the tree stump decomposes faster.

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.

If tree branches cross well into your property line, in many cases, these branches become part of your property, and you can trim them up until your neighbor’s property line. However, this issue will vary based on local ordinances, so you should do your research before making any decisions. Better yet, speak with your neighbor about how to handle any tree issues.

If you don’t mind the branches, you can leave them be, but if they’re becoming a hazard, it’s definitely worth having a conversation.
