I hired him through Angi to replace my front window screen, and he so was honest in his evaluation of what could or couldn't be done. In my case, the window screen was bent & will have to be replaced by the manufacturer. He didn't try to sell me on something that wouldn't work. He therefore did not charge me, even though he had driven a long way to get here. This was a morning appointment and I had no cash on me, so he even turned down a tip!! I will hire him in the near future to paint my living room and for other projects as needed. My search for a great handyman is over!! I highly recommend him for his prompt, caring professionalism and just being a decent human being. I've already recommended him to my neighbors and plan to do so at work as well. "Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season.
