The winds must have been very strong as the shingles on one section of my roof were ripped off down to the framing, the ridge vent was damaged, numerous shingles were torn off, lifted, or otherwise displaced. In addition to the roof damage, the back downspout was ripped off the house. I found pieces in my yard and a section in my neighbors yard! One of the roofing companies I contacted was Muth & Co. Roofing. I left a message at approximately 6:45 PM on Thursday (after normal business hours of 8:00-5:00). I received a call back at approximately 8:15 AM on Friday (the next business day). I was advised that they could definitely come out to tarp the most serious damage and that I would receive a call when the roofer was on his way to my house. Bruce called to let me know he was on his way at approximately 9:40 AM. Upon arrival, we walked around the house so I could point out the damage I could see from the ground. He immediately went up on the roof to assess the damage. After assessing the damage, he proceeded to tarp the major damage and tack down a number of loose shingles. He also measured the roof so he could provide a written estimate for repairs. Bruce was very friendly and explained each step of the process to me. I'm now waiting for a written estimate for the repairs; I have an appointment scheduled for this Thursday 6/20/2013 to go over the estimate with a representative from the company. Once I receive estimates, I will need to go back to my insurance agent to file a claim as the damages are expected to exceed my deductible. Overall, I have been very happy with the service provided by Muth & Co. Roofing. Within 20-30 minutes of ending the call with the representative, Rosetta contacted my realtor by phone, at which point she was again unprofessional and yelled at my realtor. I can only guess that the representative contacted Rosetta and discussed my concerns. Rosetta's website indicates that she takes pride in details and she's dedicated to client satisfaction, but my experience has been the exact opposite. It took an extra week to close because she gave false information regarding the homeowner's association fee to the title company. She was so rude and made every step more difficult, so much so, that we nearly walked away from the purchase. My husband and I were relieved to complete the transaction and to never have to work with her again. If you are listing your house with a realtor and wish to use someone who works hard for you, do not use Rosetta/Tri-County Real Estate. Her poor reputation precedes her.
