Michael is the BEST realtor out there! He has really guided and supported us through out our house hunting and took care of everything. Mike was an absolute delight and valuable asset. He was responsive, knowledgable, and hard-working. We were impressed with his ability to recognize the positives and negatives of the properties we viewed. Every time we saw a home online that we were interested in viewing, he responded quickly and set it up according to our schedule needs. He gave us great recommendations for lenders, inspectors, and other services. When it came time to put in an offer on a house we loved, he gave fantastic advice, answered all our questions, and he was a great advocate for us. We got the home we really wanted, and he was integral in making it possible. I hope we won't move again for a very long time, but I wouldn't hesitate to work with Mike again.

TL;DR: Mike was incredible. Real estate is crazy right now (summer 2021), which we knew going in. Mike set our expectations correctly for this market and explained clearly what he could and could not do. Everything he said tracked with my research, and I really felt we had chosen the right agent when I asked for some recent sales data and he sent me the .csv to play with. His communication was fantastic, and his recommendations for other providers (loan/inspection/legal) worked out great. Mike freely admitted we got insanely lucky when our first offer was accepted, but it was his advice that put us in position for an amazing outcome. For what it's worth, I don't ever bother with reviews but this guy deserves all the accolades I can muster. Do yourself a favor and use Mike/Buyer's Resource. I can't promise everything will go as smoothly for you as it did for us, but I'm confident you will be in good hands throughout the process.

Mike has been amazing guiding us through this whole process!!! He truly is on the buyer's side and really helped us by coming up with a strong a offer. And once the offer was accepted he negotiated with the sellers and communicated with the lenders and really was on top of everything. We went into this with barely any knowledge and he really explained things very simply and would step by step let us know what we needed to do. He was always quick to respond to us whenever we called, or emailed with a question or concern. He has such good recommendations for anything needed from inspectors, lenders, attorneys, and locksmiths. He really knows his stuff and anybody he recommended we work with has been amazing and efficient. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a house and would seek him out if we planned to buy another house.

Great! Mike's laid-back, relaxed demeanor belies his thorough knowledge of houses and house hunting in general. His no-pressure approach fit us perfectly---which is another reason to hire a buyer's agent. We felt that Mike was on our side. We chose the houses we wanted to see and he made it happen. We appreciated his thoroughness; from the basement to the roof, Mike checks for possible problems, provides price comparisons of houses for sale in the surrounding neighborhood, and gives his honest opinion of whether a potential purchase is a good investment. When we made our first bid, his advice helped us keep our perspective. Mike makes an effort to remain in communication with his clients---he responds promptly to messages and works hard to resolve any issues. I cannot recommend Mike Marshall highly enough for his outstanding service as my agent in the home buying process. I received his information from a friend who also had a GREAT experience with him a few years ago. This was my first home purchase and he patiently walked me through the entire process. I was relocating to the Columbus area and he really went out of his way to help me from afar. Because my opportunity to view homes was limited to a few days, he really made sure to be available when I needed him. He has expert knowledge of houses and knows exactly what to look for during viewings. He knows the Columbus housing market very well which paid off when I found a house I wanted. He really spent time studying the house details and the nearby neighborhood to make sure that my offer was aggressive yet realistic and it turned out perfectly. After I was in contract on the house, he really managed the back and forth like the professional he is. This was especially crucial because I was not living in Columbus at the time. Mike has an outstanding network of contractors that he leveraged to support the closing process. He went out of his way to visit the house several times to check on the progress of repairs. The most important thing to know about working with Mike is that he did not pressure me to do anything that made me uncomfortable. He would offer advice and help me thoroughly consider all options, but when the time came to make a decision, he left it up to me. I cannot emphasize how refreshing it was to have someone on my team that REALLY had my best interests in mind during the entire process. There are many options when it comes to choosing a real estate agent. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Mike Marshall. Good luck!

Over the last 15 years, Mike Marshall has represented me in the purchase of TWO great homes. Most recently, he worked patiently with me for approximately 9 months beginning in late 2017 as I tried to find the perfect home in this very difficult market for buyers in Central Ohio. Mike was always prompt to respond to questions and requests, always punctual and professional. Although he presumably has several clients at any one time, he was always available on short notice to see new listings. He never pressured me or showed signs of impatience as we viewed many many homes and my goals changed. He is extremely knowledgable about homes and the housing market. This knowledge was extremely useful to me in avoiding bad decisions. I always felt that he was putting my interests first, including, on occasion, making suggestions that would result in a lower commission for him but would be better for me. I highly recommend him if you're seeking to buy a home!

Great experience. Mike Marshall was highly recommended to us by 2 different friends who recently bought in the area. He was knowledgeable, quick to respond to questions and concerns, and worked hard to help us get the home we wanted.
