"Install went well. The concrete spalled after one winter. I offered to pay for repairs since I had used de-icer in one area. (The International Council for Concrete Repair says that spalling is caused by either freezing during cure or by overworking the trowel. Freezing didn’t happen during cure. Too much work on the trowel brings water to the surface and weakens the top layer of the concrete). They mention that de-icers can accelerate the process. I went back and forth this summer trying to get this fixed. He came out 2 or 3 times. In late summer he stopped taking my calls and repsonding to repeated texts. I WILL NEVER HIRE HIM AGAIN. (I’m posting this on the BBB Site too)."
