"Logan was able to get out and quote the job and provide all the pertinent information quickly and efficiently. Once I had chosen Logan to install my new A/C unit and furnace, they made sure to get me taken care of as quickly as they were able to. There were some hiccups along the way with scheduling, but when push came to shove, they worked with their resources to make things happen. From salesman to install tech, I couldn't be happier. Everything is in perfect working order and actually runs so much more efficiently and comfortably now. Bobby F did a great job on the install and a couple weeks later, Matthew M couldn't have done a better job with the duct cleaning. Very, very happy with this company overall!"
Logan A/C & Heat Services offered value, competitive pricing, top of the line Trane equipment, nice financing options that other companies did not offer. Dan was my sales rep that offered the above services. Bobby was the installer & was professional & did a great job. Install was scheduled on a Monday after I committed on a Friday; so very quick! Trane 20XV & Trane XC95m.

"The deceptive no fee for showing up at your home means you get to pay what amounts to a diagnosis fee of $200+. You are then charged an exorbitant amount for repair services. The service rep that actually did the work was very good at explaining the job and repairing the leaking pipe."

"They did a good job on the sewer clean out. They also checked all the pipes during the water heater installation. They were really tidy - very good at cleaning up after the job."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

A washing machine should drain the water used during its cycle through a drainpipe and out through the house’s plumbing. This is the same plumbing that sinks and shower drains run to, and if the U-bend is installed correctly, it shouldn’t smell. The total drainage from the house is then integrated into the city sewer system or, if you’re in the country, dispersed into a septic tank.

Costs depend on clog severity, pipe condition, equipment required, and labor.

While some chemical drain cleaners with hydrochloric acid can dissolve hair, this method is not recommended as it can also destroy your plumbing pipes. A common DIY alternative is using baking soda and vinegar, which can help break down the clog but will not actually dissolve the hair. The best and safest method for clearing a hair clog is to remove it manually. You can use a drain snake, a straightened wire hanger with pliers to fish out the clog, or have a plumber use a professional auger for more severe blockages.

If you've discovered a rather frightening buildup of brown and black gunk below your shower cover, you're not alone. The smelly sludge is often a collection of mildew and biofilm. Biofilm comes from the breakdown of soap scum, hair, skin cells, and bacteria that collects during shower time. It's quite common in a humid space and relatively easy to clean with a gentle DIY cleaning solution such as baking soda and vinegar.

A two-way cleanout can help if there’s already a clog, but the best strategy to prevent one is by not rinsing grease, oil, or fat down your drains, not flushing or rinsing coffee grounds or egg shells down your drains, flushing only human waste and toilet paper (so no diapers, period products, bathroom wipes, or paper towels), and using drain guards on all of your drains.
