"In short, this was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a service provider.  I called CTS for an estimate and received a return call very quickly.  We arranged a time for Adrian to come over, and he showed up exactly on time.  He then emailed me the estimate promptly.  We thought the price seemed very fair for the amount of work we were asking them to do, so we scheduled the work for a couple days later.
The crew of 3 painters arrived exactly on time, got to work immediately, and had the bedroom wallpaper down within a couple of hours. After removing the paper, they were extremely conscientious about making sure the walls were perfect before painting. They cleaned them, then spackled and sanded several areas (and we were very impressed that they left no dust after sanding).  
The crew worked quickly, with only a brief lunch break, and didn't stop until both rooms were completely finished.  They cleaned up after themselves and put all furniture back.  We were amazed at the quality of work.  Both rooms are absolutely beautiful.  We plan to have them back to paint the rest of our house later this fall.

"First of all, I want to say that Jim the owner did not do the work. It was wood refinishing, not painting. Jim has a different person do the wood related work. When I met with Jim for the estimate he was pleasant and professional, the wood guy however, was late. Despite having an estimate that was twice as high as the other estimate I had gotten, I hired them (I could not get a certificate of insurance from the other guy). He was supposed to start work on a Saturday. I knew that they needed to match the stain of my existing woodwork and would need time to do this, so I offered a piece of my woodwork to them several days ahead of time. They did not take me up on my offer. On Saturday, he took the wood to the paint store but they did not match it until late that afternoon. Thus, no work was done on Saturday. He acted surprised that it took so long to match the stain (so I could anticipate this but the professional could not?!). On Sunday he showed up late (he called first, but he should have known that the paint store did not open until 10) however he had forgotten some of his materials and had to wait for someone to bring them. On Monday he showed up late (again, he called to let us know). The work he did looks fine except that he forgot to refinish a section of one step. After I contacted him he said he would come back but did not. A week later I still had not heard from him or Jim so I did it myself. While doing this I also noticed that he did not tape off the white railings on my stairs so that there is a bit of stain on the white on many of them ( I seem to recall him telling me at the estimate that he would tape them). Not a huge deal but I kind of expected more attention to detail. Overall, I am happy with how my stairs look and he was a very nice person. His tardiness did not add any days to the project but was annoying."

"Cindy recently completed a project involving my half-bath which required some dry-wall patching and getting the walls in paint ready shape before she could paint. She charged a fair price and was willing to work with my schedule. She was concerned enough about the mirror she hung in the bathroom to return and make it more secure. "I think they were fabulous. They were very professional. it's a dad and his two sons doing all the estimating and work. I would absolutely use them again. They are a bit pricey, but it's definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." Their work is excellent. No headaches or problems:-) There were a few pre-existing problems (rotted wood on the Gazebo). They took care of what was in their scope and reccomended a carpenter for the section that needed a carpenter. They were reccomended by a friend who appreciates good work. I like that each member of this family has a ton of experience and does a great job. I paid them in installments for the work that they just completed. At one point, I over-paid them. Mr. Shockley pointed that out right away and told me a credit would be applied to the next portion of the job. He was great with all the paperwork. They have their own workshop. The TV cabinet came out great! It had an old-fashioned oak feel to it. They painted it black. Great job! They took the doors and shelves into their workshop to spray them."

"I called Greystone Remodeling when I was looking to remodel my kitchen. I selected them from Angie's List based on the comments of others.  Pat Jewell came to the house and listened to what I wanted done and made some suggestions. She gave me a price which was more than I wanted to spend but I realized that I would need to spend that much to get a finished product. The other contractors gave me about the same price but the rapport with Pat convinced me to go with Greystone.  I went to the office for selecting materials and colors.  Pat has an incredible sense of color and helped me pick out a fantastic combination of colors.  Dale shifted things around in the kitchen since the stove would not meet code where it was placed. They started sooner than I expected. There was a holiday during the construction time and the two week estimate extended a bit because of having to wait on the counters, etc.  One of the things I greatly appreciated was the detail that was included in the estimate. The only thing they missed were two plugs for the kitchen. The estimate was right on target even though I felt like I was getting some extras along the way.  I LOVE my new kitchen. Pat's guidance in selecting the colors was amazing. I cannot be more pleased! Pat contacted us to give us heads up on each step of the process and made sure we had an emergency sink when it turned out the counters would not be in until the next Monday.  Their contractors were talented and fun to deal with. Pat and Dale were professional yet relaxed and understanding when the "remodeling blue" got to us.  I cannot say enough positive about this whole experience.Thanks you Greystone."
