Stauffer's did a great job on my 2-story Tudor style home with synthetic stucco and cedar trim. I wanted the project done within a month of getting the quote, and they were able to accommodate. There were several parts to the project that they handled: power wash, repair holes in both wood and stucco made by carpenter bees and woodpeckers, replace trim boards that were damaged from incorrect flashing placement, prep and painting of all exterior surfaces including garage doors, entry doors, gutters/downspouts, and chimney flashing. Jorge and his crew worked diligently and with pride in the results. They power washed the entire exterior including all the brick and a large chimney, even removing stains from a rusted chimney cap. Multiple holes were patched and now can't tell where they were. Jerry (the owner) kept in close touch, making sure I understood when they would be doing what, and the options when it came to replacing the rotted wood and repairing damaged stucco. The carpentry expert he brought in for that part of the job did flawless work. During the final inspection, Jerry walked around the house with me and the crew quickly took care of a few things that were missed. One of them had roofing expertise and he fixed how one of the gutters was incorrectly positioned. I would definitely recommend Stauffer's Painting, Jerry is a straight shooter and very nice to work with, and his company does a quality job at a fair price.

He came back this year and put different stain on. He did not finish the job. Some of the parts have not yet stained up. He did shady and horrible workmanship last year. He did come back and did partial work.

Stauffer’s Painting Systems did a first-class job painting the interior of our house. And I mean first class. The details: After reading reviews and researching, I called Jerry and told him I was looking for someone to paint the interior of our newly purchased house before we moved in. Jerry stopped by between his other commitments and we had a good conversation. Jerry is a very personable guy, and particular about doing a job correctly. He mentioned things I had not thought of. He offered some suggestions regarding my scheduling, as I was having other work done. And… Jerry’s estimate was very reasonable. We chose to proceed with Stauffer’s and Jerry assigned Chris to the project. Chris was extremely passionate about his work (which is what I said I wanted) and he was detail oriented. An experienced and professional painter. He would show up a few minutes early each day and wait until the agreed-upon time to come in and start working, he worked quickly, he kept everything neat and tidy, he pointed out things that might concern me in rooms *before* he started, he tried to pick up on what might bother my wife and I so that we wouldn’t become irritated, his painting and lines were perfect—Chris sets a standard that would be almost impossible for someone else to achieve. Well beyond my standards. In fact, Chris was concerned about a tiny little spot around the trim that was caused by previous painting, mentioned it to me, I looked at it and told him it didn’t bother me, he mentioned it to Jerry, Jerry came to me to discuss. These guys are particular! The cost was the same as the original estimate. The painting is exceptional. I’ve had another guy come over to do work on the house and he asked me about the painting and offered up compliments. There is a hassle factor when you hire someone to work in your home. I don’t really like all of the irritations involved. There was no inconvenience with these guys. While I realize Jerry has done projects for hundreds of homeowners like me over the years and being personable is part of the job, I see him as a friend at this point. And Chris? Well, he had almost spent as much time in our house as we had, prior to our moving in. I could jokingly say he had kind of become a member of the family. I highly recommend Stauffer’s.

Stauffer's completed our exterior painting job last week. We had used them ten years ago and were happy with the job then, as we are now. We obtained several quotes and theirs was fair and competitive. The job was started promptly and completed in four days. Even the power washing exceeded our expectations as they cleaned the chimney and walk leading up to the front door in addition to the entire house (the stucco was not getting painted). The front of the house is all cedar and the trim everywhere is cedar. They applied three coats to a few of the "weather-beaten" trim boards and two coats to the rest of the trim. All cracks were appropriately filled prior to painting. They also painted the gutters and downspouts which added to the finished look. Jerry Stauffer (owner) stopped by during the final hours of the job to ensure that everything done by his crew met his expectations. Would recommend to anyone looking for great quality at a fair price.

The team apparently did a great job on painting my home which was left a complete mess from previous tenants. I was desperate to have the job done prior to my new tenants move-in and the team came right in and completed the job fast as well as did some small miscellaneous jobs that I needed done. This company was a lifesaver for me and the cost wasn't too bad.

Jerry very responsive and scheduled at a mutually agreeable day. Worker removed deck furniture for me as I recently had knee surgery. That was very helpful and kind. The decks look gorgeous. I have relied on this company for many years to refurbish, renovate and maintain my farmhouse. They have removed years of wallpaper, replaced ceilings, painted most of my home, power washed and applied stain to the newer decks. I can always rely on Jerry to provide the best service. You get what you pay for.

Highly recommend! We got estimates from three separate Columbus-based painting companies. All seemed knowledgable, dedicated to the customer, and thorough, but then Stauffers estimate came in significantly lower than the other two companies even though the work described and paint used in the estimates were the same for all three. We went for it and could not be happier. The painters we had were incredible. Dave and Chuck were friendly, communicative, and kept me informed throughout the project. They worked two weekends in a row to get the project done in time for new carpet, as well. I shared my cell number and they even texted photos of any areas that they had questions about and would call me to consult, offering the options available to us, even recommending the option most often that would require more work on their end but would, as they said, result in a better end product in their opinion. They didn't care about how long a project took or how much work it would require, they only cared that we were happy with their work in the end. Finally, Jerry, the owner does a walkthrough at the end to assess the paint job and will find even the most minor imperfection (I didn't even notice the two he spotted), and will have the painter return to fix it before he considers the job complete. Unreal service, and exceptional paint job. We even added an additional room mid-project because the work they were doing was so good. We simply called Jerry, asked him to run us an estimate with the additional room, which he did that same day, then we approved and the additional room was painted a day later along with everything else--again, at an incredibly fair price. Would hire again without hesitation.

The whole job from start to finish took only 3 days! Somehow it timed out where there was an extra crew available, so it was all hands on deck. I'd neglected to move things off the kitchen counters but they took care of that too. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. When Jerry came back a few days later to do a walk-through, we found a couple of spots and he fixed those on the, well, spot. Aside from some slight miscommunication in the beginning as to when things were going to start, overall I am very pleased with this project and would recommend them.

No problems with the results or the pricing.

I've used Stauffers twice now. They painted the interior of our home. Stripped wallpaper and did a great job patching and making the walls look smooth. I also like working with Jerry.

Everything went great! Came early so I could leave for work, locked up when they left. Did a great job and we are hiring them again for the outside this spring.

Wall repairs and painting job on our den walls + ceiling look good. Time to complete was fairly quick. They took a lot of care not to get paint/dust on furniture. 3 suggestions for improvement: 1.) Better communication. I had to contact the day before scheduled date of service to ask what time to expect someone and what colors I wanted. I feel like I should have been contacted well before this point about these important details. 2.) Scheduled times of arrrival. My time is as valuable as yours, so don’t make me wait around for hours for your arrival. Schedule it in advance and everyone is happy. 3.) Tell me who I should be expecting to do the job. You know what I mean. They are skilled workers, the language barrier is an issue.

They did a great job. Really satisfied.Highly recommend.

September 2017 I contacted Stauffers Painting Systems,LLC for an estimate to stain the floor of my screened-in porch. It took awhile for them to schedule. They were very friendly and polite. The stain color was not what I wanted, but close enough. The finished job looked okay so I paid them. Once the stained started to dry I noticed that I could see roller/brush strokes. I called the owner, Jerry Stauffers, and expressed my concerns. He came to my home to evaluate the porch stain and agreed right on the spot that the stain job was inferior. Jerry apologized and said he would redo for no charge and that I would be at the top of his list for the spring 2018. Well, he has given me 1,000 excuses week after week why he hasn't been able to complete the job. I am the one who has to call him ... he never initiates the call ... and lately all I get is voice mail!

Fantastic! Very friendly and professional. Jerry explained what they were going to do up front Keith followed up with a walk-thru and explanai on of everything they did. Work was exceptional. Went above and beyond to make the job a success. We had to be patient. Jerry was quick to get out and do an estimate, but a little slow getting it back to us. Also took about a month before they could do the work. It was well worth the wait. We are now getting ready to do the inside. I'm looking forward to seeing his next estimate.

A few months after the sealing, a heavy rain showed an area of the East side had not been sealed. Several calls always ended in Mr. Stauffer agreeing to come back and seal the area. However, two years later, they never have.

The whole process went smoothly - always on time and the work was completed in a timely manner. Repairs that he helped me make to my porch (replaced rotting beam/column) were done in an excellent manner/look exactly like my existing columns. After the painting was complete we did a walk around of the property and he called a few things out that needed touched up which were taken care of immediately. I will hire again!

Contacted Jerry Stauffer's company for an estimate. Once that was received and compared with other estimates, it was clear that Stauffers Painting Systems, LLC was very reasonable cost wise. The Stauffers crew showed up when promised and finished in a very reasonable time frame. They were professional and great to work with. I will hire them again when I have further need.
