"The entire crew was pleasant and professional. They all had on painter’s whites, which was professional looking. None of them were rude whatsoever; they were all very easy to get along with. They worked fast and they knew how to close out the job. Clean up daily was performed also. Having an older house presents lots of issues. They even covered up mistakes made by our last contractor (student painters) so it was an over all, very well done job. And, to make it a higher degree of difficulty, we changed colors drastically. They also took our front door from bright red to a transparent stain. So that skill set is there as well. So a 2,500 square foot home and all trim, a 700 square foot, two level deck with two staircases, and a front door strip and refinish under 6 grand. Very pleased. I did not include a photo only because there is sawdust on the house from the tornado; which him and his crew also wanted to help clean up!"

"We relocated from an apartment into a new home. We needed assistance moving our larger and bulkier items. Moving Ahead scheduled me at the time I needed. When there was a change to our schedule, they were able to accommodate without issue. They were in constant communication with me regarding the move and allowed me to add extra items at the last minute. The movers were available early and came to get things started. They were courteous, professional and took extreme care in prepping the space to ensure no damage occurred to the carpet/tile. The took extra care in wrapping all items as well. They were very efficient and we had no damage to our property that was being moved or to the house/apartment. Having been a military family and moving 15 times over the last 20 years, I can guarantee you they are exceptional in taking care of the customer and their property! If the need ever arises, I will without a doubt call them again!"

"First of all i spoke with a lot of guys that are in this field of work. I feel like its a sales "Cat and mouse " game with them all for the exception of Across town foundation co. They are so laid back what a great feeling  ZERO pressure.  The price was amazing . The work started early and the guys stayed on it hard till the end of the day. "Bottom Line Up Front: if you need a contractor to pour concrete for patio, garage, etc. look no further. Jim and his crew at Powerhouse were absolutely amazing. I say this as I was (embarrassingly so) that nightmare customer who could not make up his mind and thankfully Jim was right there to calmly lead me thru various solutions for my patio. I needed a patio extension so that can build a gazebo on it next month and he designed options that met all the future project's requirements without breaking the bank. He really knows his business. Jim is not only patient, but trustworthy too. He talked me out of a very expensive approach that I had asked for my patio by explaining that for what I was going to use it for, a less costly option would actually serve me better in the long run. Oh and remember I said I couldn't make up my mind. Well...halfway through the initial phase of the project I changed the dimensions and lay out of the patio twice. Instead of getting frustrated with me (the crazy customer), he said and I quote "no problem my friend, we will make it happen...that is what a good contractor does." In addition, his crew was very professional and respectful, and when they were finished with the job they left the job site pristine. I was very impressed in how Jim mentored these young men. To wrap this up, I was very impressed with the end product as it was very well done and looked incredible. At the end of the day, in spite of my indecision and two crazy change orders midstream, the project was completed on time and on budget. I would recommend Jim and his crew at Powerhouse anytime."
