"I had nature stone come to my home for a garage floor estimate.  Their price was more than double estimates from Rhino Flooring & Columbus Garage Floor Coating.  The product is beautiful but requires periodic re-sealing.  Re-sealing would require me to move everything out of my garage, which is not something I'm not interested in doing.
Estimator also committed a monumental error when he offered me a substantial discount if I would sign a contract that day, which is always a red flag.
Again, a beautiful product...but not the best for garages.  I felt the other two companies provided a better product at a better price.

"I recently had D & R Concrete apply an epoxy garage coating, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and highly skilled. They completed the project quickly without sacrificing quality, and the final outcome is absolutely stunning. The surface is smooth, durable, and has a flawless finish that enhances the overall look of my garage. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship truly sets them apart. The coating not only looks beautiful and high-end but also provides excellent protection against stains, moisture, and wear. I highly recommend D & R Concrete to anyone looking for garage floor coatings, decorative concrete, or any concrete refinishing services. Small jobs welcome

DAM Concrete is a new company, built off of 10+ years in the trade. I started with my families company in Toledo, OH and then I joined Local 886 as an apprentice and in 4 years I became a Foreman. I decided to move down the Columbus 3 years ago working as a supervisor for a company. I've been on all sorts of projects from residential driveways and stamped patios, to commercial warehouses and apartment building to just name a few. I've always had the goal to own my own company one day, and I'm starting to live that dream.

"Installed Penntek Chip System coating on my exterior foundation concrete block. Due to a steep slope on my lot, this required up to 5 1/2 feet of vertical installation - a total of 470 square feet. I had talked to floor installers who use an epoxy system and none of them could do a vertical installation. However, with this polyurea system, vertical application is not an issue. AND, best of all, it’s fully warranted for 15 years! Alden and Brandon did a fantastic, high-quality job with the installation. They prepped the block, applied a base coat, then the chips and finally a top coat - all done in one day. They thoroughly cleaned up when they were finished. They were very professional, worked hard and had no problem with answering questions and kept me informed of what they were doing. The salesman, John, was low pressure, easy to work with and very informative. I did a custom mix of the Domino chip color (45% gray, 35% white, 20% black). The result is a fantastic granite-like look, but with the 45% gray it's subtle enough to not stick out from the concrete foundations on nearby homes. This provides a long term solution versus painting and is a great aesthetic upgrade. NOTE: This company also does business as Buckeye Seamless (gutters, downspouts, drain lines...)."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

You can’t paint a foundation like you would the walls in your home; there are a few extra important steps to take. Instead of just busting out the paint, you should clean the surface and fix any impurities before grabbing the brush. Using a paint sprayer to apply sealant and primer will ensure you have the perfect canvas to apply your chosen paint color.

New flooring costs quite a bit, so longevity is important to think about. Concrete generally has the longest life span, but it’s not always a good solution for homes with wooden subfloors. That said, hardwood floors and stone floors can last up to 100 years, and you can refinish or restore them to remove imperfections from daily wear.

Yes, concrete driveways benefit from a driveway sealant. However, applying the wrong sealant to your concrete driveway can actually make it a safety hazard by turning the surface slippery if wet, so avoid epoxy or polyurethane sealers and go for an acrylic or a penetrating concrete sealer instead.

The lifespan of stained concrete can range from five years to a lifetime, depending on the type of stain used and how well it is maintained. Acid-based stains penetrate the concrete and can last 20 years or more, while water-based stains are less durable and may last around five years, especially on outdoor surfaces exposed to UV light and weather. To preserve the color and extend the life of the finish, stained concrete should be properly sealed and then resealed every three to five years. Factors like foot traffic, climate, and proper initial application also affect its longevity.

Options include stamped, stained, polished, and textured finishes. Choose based on aesthetic preference and functionality.
