"Jerry and his crew did an outstanding job with our landscaping needs. First Jerry was very quick to respond to an estimate request. They did the work for half the price of another quote that I received and I couldn't be happier with the results. They came out about a week after the initial estimate and did the edging, weeding and mulching for our beds and trees in the front and back of the house on the first day then came back the next day to do the mulching and minor sod replacement. Highly recommended."

"Finding a reliable and trustworthy landscaping company is difficult. Shane and his crew fulfilled my quest. They undertook a project to cleanup a yard and shrub beds after nearly two years of neglect. Other landscaping companies base their quotes on requested photos. Shane took the time to personally walk the property with me and take notes on details. Additionally, he followed up with progress inspections, as the work progressed. The fastest ways to kill weeds and unwanted grass include burning them, pouring boiling water on them, or pulling them out by hand, as these methods work almost instantaneously. For a quick-acting solution that works within a few hours, you can use a commercial-grade herbicide like glyphosate or a DIY vinegar, salt, and dish soap mixture. While effective, be aware that commercial herbicides introduce chemicals into your lawn. The slowest method for killing weeds is to starve them of sunlight and nutrients using mulch or fabric covers.

Adding vinegar to your lawn increases the acidity of the area, which can kill quack grass present above the ground. However, putting vinegar in your yard will also kill the grass. Unfortunately, the below-ground quack grass rhizomes remain very much alive in the presence of vinegar and will soon sprout again.

Crabgrass is very resilient, and homemade solutions like vinegar may not be strong enough. Typically, hand-weeding is the most effective option that doesn’t involve harmful chemicals.
