"I contacted PG Excavating to cut out and grade a 15 x 12 area for a fire pit on my 4-acre property. The project also included a gravel base, a weed barrier, 1.5 tons of decorative rock, and framing with landscape timbers. The selected site was in a back corner of the property and a distance from the driveway. Sean contacted me weekly to assess the wetness of the property to minimize damage from heavy equipment. He did not pick a date and force it on me. He continually checked the property and proceeded when he felt the ground could best handle the activity. Through a strategic approach (with no short cuts), they minimized the number of trips across my yard and limited off-driveway equipment to a mini-excavator (no pick-up trucks and no dump truck!).
